The Goddess Women's Alice Soft Cup Bra has what all wire-free, leisure, soft-cup bras are missing: an inch-thick band that does not roll up under pendulous bosoms--which just happened when I tried on the wirelessOlga Womens Luxury Lift Bra , which has a similar band. This British bra has a band that is fitted and sturdy but does not feel pressurized; it can be worn all day without a thought. Many reviewers here do not like the resolute separation of the breasts this bra provides. For a less pointed conclusion, try this bra's sister garment,Goddess Women's Rose Soft Cup Bra, Nude, 44DD I find both Goddess bras the most uplifting and confortable brassieres imaginable! Compared to the budgetBali Women's Double Support Cotton Stretch Wire-Free Bra #3036 , see my review "Terrible Construction...", or the priceyWacoal Awareness Soft Cup Bra 85276 , this bra is the only wireless that attempts and achieves shape. The only other bra it comes close to in comfort isWacoal Women's Everyday Full Figure Softcup Bra #85226 , which let's face it, looks like a medical dressing for those women not to be trusted with the terrible weaponry of their enormous breasts! So take heart women! You can have shape and uplift, comfort and construct! And, contrary to what some other reviewers wrote of, the textured surface of the cups , if fitted properly, smooth out under even thin cotton shirts. The winner! And by the way, this Alice soft-cup version is available to wider ladies (yay!): http://www.amazon.com/Goddess-Plus-Size-Soft-Cup/dp/B007973WW0/ref=pd_sbs_a_20. One last, but very important, note: Thought this bra runs large (I'm a 40DD, but the 38DDD looked and felt perfect), stick with your actual size, because this bra will shrink, which makes no sense since it's comprised of 68% Nylon, 22% Polyester & 10% Elastane. But shrink it does, nonetheless!
