Good addition to my counter

The first package that came in, came in shattered. Amazon made it right and the next day I had my replacement. I was expecting something heavier and bigger like the one my grandpa has but I ordered the wrong one. Not much to say. It’s a nice addition to your counter. I’m using mine for pan dulce. It can hold at most 5 conchas. It’s light. The dome sits right it the slot so it stays in place. Happy customer here.

Nice cake dome

I bought this after a disaster with another brand. This is really thick glass and heavy marble. Filled with pie or cookies it looks great. A nice presentation. It is hand made so it has a couple of tiny bubbles in the glass and the handle is a little off kilter, but once filled with pastry you don't see any of that. Marble base is nice and has 3 little legs. I bought some pre-cut parchment rounds that fit perfectly inside.

Darker stone - not polished marble

The marble was unpolished and chipped. Also much more grey than pictures. It is not like a carrera but more like a grey stone. If that’s the look you want - go for it but if you are like looking for a honed or polished white with veining - this may not be for you. Also packing should have been better. Box arrived damaged and not good for gift giving. Returned it.

The only reason I can't give Five stars is because the color of the marble plate is more grey then white. That being said I love this peace I have already had multiple complements on this peace! It's a great size as well Perfect for displaying pastry's at my coffee bar.
