Mostly tough… mostly!

So anyone who thinks a fabric toy will be 100% destruction-proof should probably think for a moment about what they’re asking of… fabric. That’s just not a reasonable expectation. However! This toy has stood up pretty well to two dogs that chew hard and play hard. In a month I’ve had to repair the toy twice with needle and thread, but the squeaker is still intact and 70% of the stuffing is in there, too. My dogs LOVE soft plush toys but most are demolished on day one. This toy has absolutely endured their rough play more than most and I’m pleased. As with anything you give a pet, you’ll still want to keep an eye on this when your dog is chewing it as once a seam is opened, it’s anyone’s guess what they’ll chew and what they’ll eat and a belly full of stuffing could cost you a $$$ trip to the vet. Overall I give this one a thumbs up, knowing that I need to take the toy away when we’re not home to supervise given it’s soft exterior.

4 start because my dog ended up ripping the top blue part but not the toy itself! She loves hugging it to fall asleep. I'll buy this again.

These are SO durable & cute!

Our dogs LOVE this one and it's outlasted many tugs of war. We've since bought a few in different sizes so there are no battles at the toy box. ???? One of the best pets toys, ever. New, favorite brand from here on.

Best Toy Ever

Our six pound Yorkshire terrier really loves this toy. It’s one of her favorites. Because she is so small, the toy is about twice as large as she is! Often we see her racing through the house with it. What a funny sight! Great purchase!

Okay toy

We love goDog toys and get them from the store all the time. ***These are not the same as in the store. They have less than half the stuffing you would get at the store so we basically got a carcass to start out with. Our dog did love it. She tore it apart in minutes, normally one of these toys would last longer. If you buy these to keep your dog from chewing your stuff/furniture or just because they love plush toys, this will work.

Heeler proof

We’ve only had this toy a few days, but she loves it and it’s still in one piece, which is more than I can say for many toys. Heelers are voracious chewers. Thank you!

Good quality

My dog loves this toy . She chews on it but hasn't torn a hole into it . Normally , she would have the stuffing and squeaker out ,but this one is tough . It's been a month or longer and still in tact and keeps her interest .

Dog’s Long “Lost” Friend

When our Shiba Inu saw this, her eyes lit on her long “lost” friend. The other one had been dirty and torn after a couple of years of hard play. We had thrown it away because of how dingy it looked. We’d tried to get her other animals from the same brand, but she would always tear the small dragon’s wings off quickly, or half-play with a medium triceratops. When she saw this alligator, she was so happy to receive it. Her eyes lit up and her countenance screamed “My friend!”. The toy is still very durable and I hope to get a year or two out of it before replacing it with a replica. I don’t think we have the heart to try and get her a different toy after witnessing her reaction to this toy.

Nice Dog Toy

Nice small toy had two and they are still in one piece,usually our small dog bites a hole in everything, but as yet its fine.

Does not live up to the name

We eagerly awaited delivery of the GoDog gator chew toy as it was advertised with 'chew guard technology' and 'made stronger to last longer'. We have a medium sized 10 month old pup who loves a good chew toy but none have lasted anymore than a few days. Have tried a variety of brands, with Kong being the only one that lasts a few days longer than the rest. The average lifespan of a plush chew toy in our house is 2/3 days! Sadly the GoDog gators first 'injury' took only 10mins. Within 20 mins, well you can see the carnage in the attached photos. Our pup had also managed to chew through take the squeaker out. Appreciate that with any chew toy, especially plush, you pay your money and you take your chance. I could have purchased 3 toys for the same price which would have lasted at least a week between them! Not sure what the 'chew guard technology' is but it certainly did not live up to it's name.

Tough? You're having a laugh

This is the most expensive dog toy I've purchased bought because they promised durability. Nothing could have been further from the truth. It was unwrapped on Christmas morning. In under 10 seconds he was destuffing it. OK so he's good at chewing but this was appalling poor for a toy that claims to have a special "chewguard" layer. If your dog chews save your money !

Very small

Luckily my dog likes smaller toys that he can get in his mouth. This is really really small though. Not sure it's even 6 inches long, maybe 3 inches wide at the widest and only an inch tall. Just a watch out
