Only opened salad plates and bowls - each had an item that was chipped.

Did not open other items as repackaging for return is difficult. Not sure who to blame here, Mikasa or Amazon. Want to love these but hesitant to order again. Mikasa replaced items. Customer service was super accessible and helpful. Rare to experience customer service like this these days. Super happy with dishes, and Mikasa has earned a loyal customer.

Large Cups and Bowels

The cups are nice and big; bowls good for large servings. Had to sand off roughness on the bottoms of some of the pieces. All in all seems heavy duty.

Slightly Lower Quality than the Brand Name

Matches the Mikasa set but must be factory seconds used for the Home Basics. Blemishes and defects compared to brand

A good value

Product claims to dishwasher safe but I had some issues after first wash..before initial use The gold contrast ring bled into part of the blue..and there was some notching I have a new dishwasher..perhaps my heat/dry cycle was too hot..just fyi Otherwise a nice setting, sturdy and attractive

Would have been perfect if...

This dish set was packaged well and arrived undamaged. They had good weight to them and would have been perfect if all the pieces would have been glazed properly and the blue color would have been even and vibrant. Some dishes were fine but most of them weren't glazed right making the blue color look dull and worn. I wish the bottom of the dishes would have matched the top because they were gorgeous color and glaze

Second time a charm

My initial order arrived broken. The outer box was intact, but upon opening, all four dinner plates, two salad plates, three bowls and two cups were destroyed. I have to blame ignorant delivery driver and/or handlers. I immediately notified Amazon and a new complete set was delivered to my local post office six days later. This second package was complete intact, everything arrived perfectly. The quality of all the pieces is top tier, and I forsee years of non-hassle use.

Good quality dishes for a fair price. Coffee mugs are a decent size, and the bowls are deep.
