Good griddle, a tad disappointed

I just made pancakes on this griddle for the first use. No oil or fat needed (or wanted). I made the fist ones w/o grease. The came right off and looked great, very even colored. For the next batch I but a very light coating of bacon grease, which beaded up. Those pancakes were not as evenly browned. Purely presentation. I was using a stainless steel good quality griddle which required greasing. The grease always "set up" and required Barkeepers Friend to remove it from the Stainless Steel. I grew tired of that. Why I am disappointed with this griddle. I own 2 skillets that are also GraniteStone Diamond, so this is why I purchased this griddle. So much better lasting than any other coating I have tried. They are induction ready as were the other sets of the same line on Amazon, but this griddle is not induction ready. Too bad, I would have given it 5 stars. Nowhere in the description does it say it is or is not. The image of the product packaging with the pictures of features is not clear enough to make out what they say, My Primary cooktop is gas and I have a portable induction cooktop and plan to go an induction range somewhere down the road. But for the price, I will keep it until rendered useless by a new range.

Great pan for the money

I found this pan a great value. It heats evenly and the nonstick surface works as advertised. I would buy it again.

So far a great pan.

The only con I can think of is that the sides of the pan are rather low. But for French toast, pancakes and other things to fry that don't have a lot of liquid in them, this pan is great.

Very nonstick!

I love these pans that say you don't even need to use cooking spray to keep food from sticking. Liked mine so much that I bought a second one as a gift.

Surprised and happy

I was not looking forward to buying a new pan as I can be picky. When I received the pan, I was surprised by how lightweight it is and it made me wary. After some trial with cooking, I like it! I still can’t get the temp right for large pancakes, but that may be me. I also have not had to use any oil or butter. It is perfectly nonstick

Not level

I like this pan if I’m not cooking something that needs to lay flat. The pan isn’t level, so if I cook eggs or pancakes on it, they just run together. I’ve even had to put something under the handle to keep it from rocking.
