Nice set; good price

This is a nice set at a good price. Unfortunately my grandkids weren't interested in the starter sets I bought, so I returned this unopened.

Broken part, no response from Ravensburger

I got this set andthe accessory called “Flip” is not working. No reply from Ravensburger when I tried product support. It’s been more than a week. Can’t return it because the kid is already playing with it. I just want the Flip replaced it’s like an $11 part.

Excellent toy!!

My son (age 13) was thrilled with this! I got him the regular starter set plus an expansion and a couple of the extra pieces last year for Christmas and he has loved it and played with it regularly all year. This year, he asked for another set to expand on what he has. He was just wanting another base starter set, thinking that would give him plenty to work with to expand what he already had. But I saw this "speed" set and knew he'd like it, and I was right. He was so excited opening this Christmas morning and couldn't wait to add it on to his original sets. He has been making large new track designs ever since. He says there's so much to do now, that he's even a bit overwhelmed with all he can create. You really can't go wrong with Gravitrax! It has been such a great toy for him. He has attention difficulties and there aren't many toys that hold his attention span for long. But Gravitrax has! He spends hours at a time building, designing, playing, redesigning tracks again and again. Such a great toy! And this set is fabulous! It has the full original starter set plus a bunch of extra pieces that add so much! I know a lot of people complain about the cardboard base pieces and plastic track pieces, but that really hasn't been an issue at all. They've held up well from his original sets last year through all his regular play with them. The quality really is just fine, as long as you're not stomping on the pieces. They work well and provide tons of great educationally-based play and fun. And for anyone new to Gravitrax, yes, you can just add another base starter set to a base starter set to provide expansions - a great way to get more pieces and make longer tracks. But this Speed Starter Set is a great option too - since it is essentially the base starter set with a bunch of extras! Each Gravitrax set is compatible with any other Gravitrax. Such a fabulous, creative, and fun toy!!

Interesting "toy" but quite fragile

Bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter. It's an interesting toy but rather fragile, if you knock it at all it collapses which is rather frustrating!

A truly FUN STEM and innovative marble run

Young and old can be fascinated by Gravitrax. This is an excellent gift that can be the start of hours and hours of fun and problem solving as you try and make the tracks better and better. There are so many inventive ways to use the track so the configurations are endless and there’s a great community on line to provide more ideas. There’s lots of great expansion set as well if you think you’ve exhausted all the current possibilities. Great product and great quality.

Fantastic for a 10 year old

My son got this as an Xmas pressie and is absolutely loving being creative with this. He also got the extras (trampoline, speeder etc) which complement this basic package.
