The bolts needed to secure a fixture to the mount are not provided.

Non-standard screw size
No screws included - That isn't a problem. Non-standard screw size - That is a problem. The standard fixture screw for this type of box is 8-32. Most fixtures you would attach to this box typically include the normal 8-32 screws anyway. But in this box, an 8-32 screw is very loose and won't grip, and a 10-32 is too big to fit. I had to drill and tap for a 10-32 to fit. I bought 2 of these for a lighting project. Same story on both. Not recommended.

Does what it's meant to do
I used this to mount an outdoor security camera/floodlight about the garage. It comes with five holes so you can choose which one you need for your application, and four plugs for the holes you don't use. If you're using it in a wet environment, you need to seal the plugs with silicone compound, so make sure you have some on hand.

These are well made and work well as a junction box for wires or you can use it for a light fixture.

Arrived fast - and I needed the metal box pronto
I had a similar plastic box but for some reason, both ear mounts cracked and broke within two years of operation. The holes for this metal replacement did not exactly align to my original plastic box but I was able to adapt to that.

Garbage quality control. Hole threads are not standard sizes.
Garbage "Made in USA" product. I couldn't get my light fixture to screw into this box as the holes were cheaply threaded. They are not standard thread hole sizes. Also does not come with any screws to mount this actual box. Beware.
