It may be a nail eater, but deck screws are too hard for it

This auger bit works very well, but you do need to take some care not to hit a deck screw, because that will end it.

These are made to fit:Bare-Tool Milwaukee 0799-20 V28 28-Volt Lithium-Ion 7/16-Inch Cordless Impact Wrench (Tool Only, No Battery) It is very rare when a typical contractor will need a bit like this. 18-inch is ridiculously long. You can bore through telephone poles and posts for pole beam construction.. or making an opening in a house for a spigot. These hold up well and the tips can be sharpened. They can handle extreme torque and impacts. Hope that helps.

terrible bit , looks like a nicely made auger, went to use it first time the other day, pull though screw bit striped in a matter of seconds, very disappointed with this have used other brands for years with out the tip failing ,

A beautiful tool. As I'm not as inclined to do as much with my tools as I used to I'm not sure I will ever use it. I don know from using it's bigger brother than if I should need it that it will be more than satisfactory. The Greenlee augers are far better than any of the other brands I've used in the past, Well worth the premium in price, though at the price I got this, I really could only have bought a no name Chinese knockoff.
