Nice off grid tool.
Nice offgrid tool, medium suction, would have like it better if it would have come with a long tube attachment

Works well for my purposes
This is a good unit if you purchase it knowing that it’s not extremely powerful or made for big jobs. I bought this to use for minor cleanup jobs on my houseboat and runabout. It works great for small vacuuming jobs and small wet jobs…cleaning out bilges and minor spills, etc. I bough this unit because it’s highly maneuverable and doesn’t have cords which always tend to be a pain when working around boats and water. Suction is decent, onboard tools are OK and the hose will stretch to 2-3 times its original size but can be difficult to stretch out and may tip the unit. Battery life has been decent…about 20 minutes of use per charge. All in all a good unit but it has its limitations so be mindful of them.

OK with caveats
1: BATTERY: This one should be 40v not 24v. Multiple batteries to vacuum my Jeep. Each lasted - maybe - 15min. 2: SUCTION: not great, but does the job 3: MANEUVERABILITY: it’s portable…but the hose can’t really be stretched without the entire thing tipping over. You basically have to hold onto it. Not great. 4: OVERALL: it’s better than a plug in because it’s easier to haul around. Like all other Greenworks products, it’s overhyped. C+ at best.

If you are in 24v it's worth it, but otherwise, go for the 40v version
I love Greenworks, but this vacuum is not as good as their other items. I have had GreenWorks 40v devices for years, but this year I tried out going with some 24v items. Yeah, they're going back. I've found that the 24v version of this vacuum has a very low suction compared to the same manufacturer's 40v version. It's still better than comparable other brands, for example the WORX portable cube (which I bought and returned due to low suction and cheap plastic). It is only good for light duty jobs. It didn't even have enough power to suck up leaves in my footwell. Yeah... this one is going back and I'll buy it again on 40v. Otherwise, it's great construction and feels very durable, just like other Greenworks items, I don't forsee this vacuum failing anytime soon due to a quality build. BOTTOM LINE: If you aren't already on Greenworks devices, I'd suggest you move up to the 40v Greenworks system or go down more to Ryobi's 18v ONE system that is cheaper with comparable power.
