Hmm...
I expected more from GUESS. But for the price, these are good sunglasses. they come with a sturdy case that can protect the sunglasses well. The sunglasses are very lightweight and can protect the eyes from UV. They are also very comfortable on the nose bridge. The materials, generally, are not very great but again for the price, it is not that bad. The design is nice and classic, nothing special though.

Look Great, Well Made Too But Lenses are Letdown
I love sunglasses but have never owned a pair of Guess sunglasses so I had zero preconceived notions ahead of receiving the Gua Square Sunglasses from the label. Ultimately, I think these are really attractive frames, particularly if you like square frames - which I do. However, the lenses aren't on par with better known brands. ►Frames & Thoughts on Quality: I was not surprised that the Gua's are all plastic - acetate in this cases. I do think Guess (or whoever manufactures the frames) did a nice job with the overall feel of the frames. These do not feel like dollar store frames at all, like another reviewer called out. The frames are sturdy and made to feel a bit weighty. The temples have nice 'Guess' brand accents near the hinge to set the frames off a bit. Another reviewer was seemingly disappointed that the frames do nothing to draw second looks from strangers... a little odd but I suppose there's some truth to it. The Gua frames are dark, subtle and maybe not intended for folks who prefer to be the center of attention. Quality seems spot-on for label sunglasses but not top-quality brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, etc. ►Lenses: The only area where I'm a bit let down are the lenses. I know that the Gua's and Guess sunglasses are not on par with top brands in the sector but the lenses are definitely an area where the Gua's could use improvement. I have sunglasses I actively rotate through including Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Revo and the Guess glasses are definitely the worst of the lot. Performance in direct sunlight is an issue. I especially notice in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun is more directly shining in my eyes. Performance when the sun is overhead is considerably better but again lacking when compared to other labels. ►Buy These If... You are okay compromising lens quality for a pair of well-made, name brand frames. Or you like square sunglasses and just haven't found anything else that you like and are willing to live with less than stellar lenses.

Fine to look out of, but won't draw second looks from others
I'm aware of the Guess brand, so I expected at least the barest of fashion statements. Instead, there may be underlying quality manufacturing on display, though it's hard to, sorry, Guess at what is special with these sunglasses. The acetate frames aren't noteworthy, the ovals aren't imaginatively drawn, and the rectangular logo is on display, but in a straightforward way, on the brim. The glasses seem to include UV protection, which is important, though they're not polarizing (polarized -- just a nice-to-have for most of us). The Guess GUA00002 and GUA00004 are priced at this level, or more, though the "Pilot" version does look at bit more fashionable. Before buying these, browse the others available on Amazon; you might find a pair less generic. I'd call these functional, good for eye care, but not great exemplars of the brand's fashion reputation. NEUTRAL This particular model might work best on wider faces -- just my opinion. PRO -You get a case, which is definitely worth a few bucks. Don't walk on the case, but it's way better than nothing. -UV protection -Fairly dark, good enough for Tucson SUMMARY They're fine to look out of, but won't draw any second looks from others. Unless they work for Guess, I guess.

Underwhelming honestly and don't look any better than dollar store sunglasses
Honestly if it weren't for the Guess on the lens, I'd say these were $5 dollar store sunglasses! Just made out of cheap plastic on the frames and the frames even have like factory swirl marks in the finish... Not an amazing quality product and they are mediocre looking so I can't see why these are so high priced. You're literally paying for the name brand on these cheap sunglasses! I don't care for them at all for what it is, just disappointing.
