Size up
I did order this shirt to use as a PJs shirt. I have a chunky 20 month old toddler, all pjs are snug fit but my little one is chunky so I prefer a looser fit on her. The shirt is cute but there is little to no stretch to it so I do recommend sizing up. For reference my daughter is 29lbs & I ordered a 2T which is pretty snug on her.
