Best of what's available
Summary: + Secure clasp + Brushed finish + Easily shaped ends (I used pliers with a microfiber cloth to force it to fit my watch. There are scratches from this poor technique, but in real life they aren't as visible unless I'm holding the watch 3 inches from my face.) - No spring bars included Long Version: There are not that many choices for stainless steel bands on Amazon. I will compare band to 3 other solid link 20mm bands I purchased at the same time. They all felt the same, and I would have never been able to guess their prices just from handling them. In fact, I would have guessed the most expensive one was the cheapest since it was the only one with an obvious flaw. Personal preferences Clasp: Whatever feels secure. Finish: Brushed Link connection: I have a tiny"hammer" and bracelet holder, so screws/pins do not matter to me. Ends: Straight BABAN 20mm Stainless Steel Wrist Watch Band Strap Double Clasp Bracelet Silver ($14) Clasp: butterfly clasp Finish: polished. Returned because I disliked the polished finish. Link connection: pins Ends: Straight SS Oyster Solid Link Curved Ends Watch Band ($20) Clasp: double. Returned because I did not feel confident about the clasp. Finish: brushed Link connection: screws Ends: Curved 20mm Solid 316l Stainless Steel Super Oyster Straight End Watch Band from Strapcode ($56) Clasp: tri fold Finish: brushed Link connection: screws Ends: Curved. One end was shorter than 20mm, making the bracelet rattle around. If it were not for the manufacturing defect, I would have kept this bracelet to avoid fooling around with the curved ends. Hadley-Roma Men's MB4426RWCE-20 20-mm Stainless Steel Watch Bracelet ($45) Clasp: tri fold Finish: brushed Link connection: pins. Ends: Curved. No spring bars. I was able to take advantage of the thin/soft folded ends because it allowed me to shape them to the shape of my watch.

Nice Watch Band; beware special thin spring pins not included!
Bought this band along with my Citizen Ecco Drive dive watch here on Amazon. Heavy band appears excellent; comfortably hefty. Well implemented hidden expansion tab too for wearing over thick outwear or dive suit cuffs. The original spring bars/pins on the Citizen watch's rubber band, however, were too thick for the metal band and I had a difficult time locating a watch repair shop handy to me that had the correct size bars. No specs found anywhere stating the correct diameter pin. $1 item that should have been included with the band. Majorly aggravating and waste of time and fuel; still running around trying to find a watch repair shop with the correct sizes. Looks to be a 1.3 or 1.5mm diameter spring bar. Had I known there were other online sellers who included the darn pins for a few dollars more. 3 stars for not including the pins which prevented me from installing the band - yes I know this might not be a fair rating for an otherwise good product.

Best when compared with other replacement bracelets
I've ordered a number of replacement watch bracelets and the Hadley-Roma brands are by far the best quality in terms of heft and quality. The $20 standard from are stamped and loose fitting. This is more like the quality that you get from a Rolex or IWC and premium OEM auto brands, the cheaper ones are for the quartz watch crowd. I like to swap out the nice OEM brands with these so as to avoid the stretch that is inevitable with all bands. My experience with buying or selling a used watch a lot of the value is determined by the condition of the band which is measured by the stretch. Spend the money and feel the difference, or settle for a cheap rattler. As far as H-R using the push pins vs screws, I don't see a big deal and haven't had any issues with the pins.

Quality band but scuffs easily
I ordered this band to replace the cheaper (thinner) steel band that came with my 2 yr old Orient Diver watch. Orient didn't sell replacement bands on their website (at least I couldn't find it) so I had to resort to OEM and this looked like a good match to my otherwise fantastic watch. Band wears nicely and looks good but it tends to get scuffed easily on the wrist side where it sometimes touches desk or other surfaces. But all said and done, it's a nice band for a quality watch that I own (Orient automatic I paid $100 for but I feel this thing is undervalued).

Well, I guess purchasing a 316L watch band isn't ...
Well, I guess purchasing a 316L watch band isn't enough these days. The band also comprises of a double safety buckle. Why can't the buckle be made of the same solid quality as the solid 316L links? What kind of times do we live in where you only receive half of a product. Would you purchase a steel automobile with cardboard doors.?? Must we double check everything to be sure?? We're screwed as a society. Bottom line: band good/buckle cheap. I don't know if the vendor even cares. I wouldn't re-buy. Do I have to spend a thousand dollars for a quality watch band?

Watchband Review
Overall a good watchband. The Pro side: Thick links (approx. 3.5mm) with a good weight. The Con side: the links are held with push pins and not screws. Had the watch band cost $20 dollars less I could understand but push pins on a $45 band is tacky. The Pro/Con side: the diver wetsuit extention. Does anyone really use it? Probably not. The wetsuit extention actually inhibits the use of the last hole for adjustment which is not really a big issue unless someone has an extremely thin wrist. A definite downside--the band was made in China. For $45 I would have hoped it would have been made in the USA.

Fits Alpinist watch
The band does fit my Seiko Aplinist, but not perfectly. Sometimes it is difficult to open, but considering the alternative of paying three to four times more for the Seiko band for Alpinist - it's a good purchase.

Very pleased with this band
I purchased this as a replacement band for my 5 year old Seiko. The band fit perfectly and looks and feels very much like the original band. I read less than rave reviews about some of the less expensive bands so I went with the more expensive, solid band. I am very pleased with the band. I looked at some new Seiko watches and this appears to be the same band as on some of them.

Good bracelet, decent clasp
The bracelet is good, not great, and I was almost duped by the seller. I received the very crappy $20 version with all folded links. It was in the packaging for this $60 bracelet, but luckily I realized the mistake or trickery and didn't allow myself to get ripped off. Now on to the bracelet! The end links are hollow and rattle just so slightly when fitted. However, the fit is better than any other aftermarket bracelet that I've tried for my Seiko Alpinist. The body of the bracelet is well made and sturdy. The links are all solid and connected with push pins. They articulate well but they do squeak! Even on the wrist I can hear them squeaking. Maybe I can put some oil in between the links, I'm not sure if that would help. The clasp is the let down for a few reasons. The rivets and spring pins holding the three parts of the clasp together are thin and rattle like crazy. It's annoying and feels cheap, and doesn't instill confidence in its strength. Second is the dive extension. For me it is useless because I never need to instantly add one inch of length, and it is bulky so that you can only use 3 out of 4 of the micro-adjust holes on the clasp. I wish I could swap the clasp out but there are rivets connecting it to the bracelet. Oh well. So there are a few shortcomings like the rattly clasp and squeaky links, and I don't feel 100% on its reliability. But I love it still. It fits my watch's lugs very well and the look is awesome, sporty but refined. It's also very comfortable. The cost is only one third of the OEM seiko bracelet and looks almost as good. It is much less bulky than the Strapcode super oyster that also costs double. I suppose you get what you pay for, and I am reasonably satisfied.

Decent bracelet for the money you’re paying
The band itself is very sturdy and feels like quality stainless steel. The actual strap lock in mechanism feels like it’s lacking quality and feels more on the cheaper side. Overall it’s better than the other beater bracelets on the market, it would be in between a cheap bracelet and a strapcode bracelet interms of quality. Right by the lugs, the brush finishing comes off easily by how the links are connected..

The delivery was on time and it was good product
I use to replace my worn out bracelet as it was the same as I have except the end of the curve part next to the watch was shorter than mine had to use my old one to fit
