Cheaper than most

Wanted a Kerrigan, but opted to go w/ less expensive one cup coffee maker. Sometimes the coffee grounds run over if water up to high fill line. Makes good coffee.

Great idea, poor final product.

During my hunt to find a single cup coffee maker, I determined that I don’t like the ones that use kcups or the plastic, yet reusable kcups, I prefer the baskets. This basket looked like a great plan, it’s a little scoop, so you can scoop with it.. it has an extra little filter basket to make sure no grounds get through… legit! Or so I thought. The water goes through the little sprinkler thing with waaaay too much pressure and makes the little grounds hit the top of the little compartment. Also, even with that nice little platform to hold the cup, coffee STILL splashes out of the cup and all over the counter top. The water reservoir is very small.. couldn’t even fill my Togo coffee cup in one try. It’s a great little coffee maker if you don’t mind these things.

Good single cup tea maker but cleaning is not the easiest

I bought an earlier version of this for my wife and she loves the single cup feature for her coffee. Five years and still going strong. I bought this newer and cheaper version for tea. It works great. But, the earlier version had three removable parts for cleaning, this only has two. You have to take a paper towel and wipe the inside of the last funnel to get it truly clean.

It Makes Coffee. So That’s Good.

Well, it makes coffee. Fast. That’s about all you could ask it to do and it does it. No complaints about its function. It does look and feel cheap, but you don’t buy this as an art piece. The one knock against its design is that there is just enough space between the spout and the top of a mug to allow liquid to splatter out of the mug and onto your countertop. You can remedy this by using a stack of coasters to reduce the distance between the mug and the spout.

Grandma disapproves

I see no problem with it but my Cuban grandma refuses to use it because the coffee "comes out watery" personally i couldn't care less but i bought it mainly for her sake and she doesn't even want to use it. I'm probably just venting at this point, ugh. The issue is the first teaspoon or so comes out clear for some reason and that's probably why she says it's watery, so, if you like your coffee strong this is not the machine you want to buy.

Perfect for me!

This little coffeemaker is just right for me! I do use a filter (cut the 2-4 cup filter in half) between the baskets, and that prevents the tiny coffee particles from going through ending up in the bottom of your cup. So far, no mechanical issues. I hope it keeps working for a long time!

Tried 4 times to get this to work. The hater heated then instead of going through the grounds the basket filled up and poured a around the maker
