It's great to teach kids to be more attuned with emotions
This set of cards is designed to teach social-emotional skills to children. I have used this once a week with my children and have noticed positive results. They're learning how to work together instead of in conflicts. The tasks may be too complicated for the recommended age range of 3 and 4 because some need to know how to speak or still learning to comprehend. The ring that holds the cards together could have been better made. However, the different tasks are well thought out and would be a great addition to any classroom or homeschool. The quality of the cards is good, and they are convenient to store. Finally, while the activities are excellent for teaching emotional intelligence, there is little guidance for adults running the activities, making additional resources necessary to make the activities truly meaningful.

Great for Classrooms
I use these once a week with my students. I pick a different activity for us to focus on and I have noticed that my kids do reference the lessons in their interactions with other kids. I think it's really important to stress the importance of social-emotional learning with young children and this is a great way to incorporate those lessons.

Well thought out tasks
I got these for my son who is 5 years old. The recommended age of 3+ seems way too young, the tasks are more complicated than i would expect a 3 or 4 year to be able to accomplish. I feel its more for 5-6 year old minimum. The ring that holds all the cards together is terrible, it doesnt allow the cards to slide well and is made of a cheap plastic. A metal ring would of been much nicer. Despite these the tasks are well thought out and theres a wide variety of them, some of the tasks are made for multiple people and so i think these would be great addition to any classroom.

useful card
It can help regulate children's emotions and encourage them to express their ideas. The quality of the card is very good, and it is also equipped with a circle, which is very convenient to store.

A good starting point for developing emotional intelligence.
These cards contain some excellent activities to help kids learn emotional intelligence, but there's not a lot of guidance for the adult running the activities. Some of them are pretty straightforward (Draw a picture of how you feel today!), but some aren't. One of the activities, an emotion check-in, has children respond to how often they feel happy, sad, excited or scared by using the thumbs up to signify often, thumbs sideways to signify sometimes, and thumbs down to signify almost never. But there's no information on what the adult should then do with the information that the child expresses. These are an excellent starting point, but unless you're a trained in child psychology or using them in a classroom setting where there are guidelines provided for assessing and acting on the results, you'll need outside resources to really make the activities meaningful.

Nice cards / activities to connection emotions and social interactions for little ones
In these post-COVID times, quite a few young kiddos didn't quite get the normal social interactions that help them learn how to work with others and how to recognize and constructively deal with their emotions. Even those that weren't impacted by daycares, preschools and elementary schools closing due to the pandemic missed out on facial expressions that kids learn from with everyone around them wearing masks (sometimes even including the kiddos themselves). These cards are a great way to help a little one learn a bit more about how to interact with others and how to deal with their own emotions. Each one has a lesson to learn through an activity or craft (some of the activities and crafts do require outside materials, though none of them are odd things and you likely have most of them around your house). The little plastic ring is a nice way to keep the cards together and allow you to separate them if you want to. The durability of the ring I'm unsure of since it is plastic, but it would be easy enough to replace it with a metal one. The cards themselves are nice and big, colorful and coated to be resistant to spills and dampness (though they're not waterproof by any means). They should prove to last, even in the hands of little kids. Our little one is 5 and he enjoyed doing a lot of the activities though he did need some assistance / help with reading the cards of course. While I'm not a therapist by any means, these do seem to be helping and that's well worth the price of entry. So if you have a little kiddo that could benefit from a refresher (or initial lesson) in social and emotional interactions, give these a try!

helps with my kids temper tantrums
I recently got the social emotional task cards for my nephew and i'm so glad that i did. The cards are vibrant and engaging, making it easy to explain important concepts in social emotional learning to my nephew. He loves playing with the cards and it has become an integral part of his playtime. The activities provided in the cards help children improve their social and emotional skills which is so important for early childhood development. i have noticed the temper tantrums are not as often as before and he' only been using the cards for about a month.
