Can't find anything to criticize

This is pretty much what other positive reviewers are saying about it. As comfy as it gets. Unique color makes me feel others are taking notice in a positive way (or I guess I’m saying the shirt “becomes me”?). There is a feel of flexibility with it – not clinging at all. One reviewer noted that lint falls from it, but if that is the case, it’s not to an extent that bothers me. Maybe that’s because I have six dogs. Another reviewer recommends next size up, but that was definitely not necessary for me. It has endured several washings in the machine. Like most products, the quality is holding up great, while the color is probably going to gradually fade over time. Even so, the soft quality with no sense of that “plastic” polyester touch is worth it alone.

Nice fabric, but thin and sheds lint

I like this sweatshirt, except for a couple of things. I picked up the red river clay color and really like it. It has a red / orange tint that reminds me of fall leaves. I received size large, and it fits well. Not too tight, and has a little extra room for a heavier shirt underneath. The fabric is 80% cotton / 20% polyester. Made in El Salvador. It is soft and comfortable. Comes out of the dryer smooth and wrinkle-free. Now for my dislikes. The fabric is thin and lightweight. I would have preferred a thicker and warmer material for winter-time wear. Also, the fabric sheds lots of lint. I first washed the sweatshirt inside-out with other dark colors. When they came out of the dryer, everything was covered in orange lint. I had to clean orange lint off all the clothes washed with this sweatshirt. I washed and dried the sweatshirt a few times by itself to avoid the lint problem. The washer and dryer lint traps were filled with orange lint after each time, but less with each wash and dry. If you purchase this sweatshirt, I would advise washing and drying it alone, inside-out, for the first few washes, until it's had a chance to shed most of its lint. Overall, nice fabric and good fit. The lint problem will reduce over time with washes. I wish the fabric was thicker and heavier, though.

Good quality

My husband likes this pullover, he wears it in the mornings on our walks/jogs, as he says it provides him enough warmth to stay comfortable without getting too hot, I’d say this is more of a light-weight type pullover, can easily be layered if needed and looks great paired with sweatpants or jeans True to size, for reference my hubby is 170lbs, and the size large fits him perfectly

Oh So Soft and Warm Sweatshirt – Red River Clay Color Rocks It!

I can’t decide which appeals to me more: the rocking Red River Clay color or the soft feel and warm pleasure that the fabric imparts. Hey, I got it all in one, what’s to decide? On the other hand, a lot of sweats can keep you warm, but not so many have this fabulous fabric and color. It is accurately shown in the picture. The fabric has a very soft and appealing feel on the outside with a slight crispness from the American sourced cotton. No slippery so called high tech polyester here! Just a flat finish on the outside and an insulating fleece on the inside to keep chill at bay. The fabric has a prewashed hominess to it that is very likeable. The fit is roomy as a sweat top should be. The stretchy ribbed bottom hem pulls in the waist to keep the piece from looking like a tent even in the large that I chose for my 5’11”, 150 pound, 40” chest frame. I sized up to a large because I wanted to make sure that the sleeves were long enough for my dress shirt size 34.5 inch arms. The sleeves fit perfectly and I’m glad that I chose a size up. It’ll be line dried to keep them that way.

Fit as expected, nice color; Hanes comfort and quality is always great!

I got this for my boyfriend since he’s very picky about what he’ll wear in the winter and hates being old but hate being itchy even more (I don’t blame him). I got this sweatshirt for him because the color is really nice and because it’s Hanes brand. Hanes has yet to disappoint me when it comes to quality, comfort, and value; this purchase was no exception. The sweatshirt is a pull-on design, not low neck or anything and can definitely be worn on its own. My boyfriend is about 6 ft 3 and the Large fits him, snugly, which he likes. It hits at about his hips, which earns a thumbs up for length. Just keep that in mind when ordering for someone shorter than him. Overall, its a win for a picky winter-clothing lover.

Super Comfy and Soft OG Style Sweatshirt

It's your dad's sweatshirt, and I am here for it! Super comfy, sooo soft, old school styling, mid-weight cotton/poly sweatshirt with banded wrists and waist. Color is persimmon, not red or orange, and has a vintage washed look. Ribbing at wrist and waist isn't too tight or loose; general shape is more boxy and square than long and lean; it's not a tunic length, and if you go up in size I think it would just be wider, not too much longer. Retained its shape after washing in cold and shrank only slightly in torso length. The bit of poly helps, I think, to keep it from looking too sloppy, but there's no cheap plastic-y feel of the material. There's not a lot "special" with this sweatshirt, which is exactly why I think it'll be a favorite to grab and go daily, because it's comfortable, warm, soft, and no fuss.

Hanes is a brand my family has used for years. This sweatshirt is extremely comfortable and fit true to size. My son loves lounging around in it.

More of a coral color than a clay

This is a really nice crewneck sweatshirt. The color is true to photos, but I wouldn’t call it a clay - it’s more of a reddish/orangish-coral color. We like it. I especially love that it’s mostly organic cotton, but why’d they have to add microplastic polyester (20%)?! Most consumes who want organic clothing do not want any polyester. Regardless it has a nice feel to it and my husband really likes the fit. He’s usually a size medium, but we went with Large because that’s all that was available. It still fits nicely with room to grow into it more if needed.
