Size off but quality good

The quality of the socks are good but it's small for my son's feet (8yo). I had to give it to my 2yo, where it fits perfectly.

Shrinking after first wash

I am not sure but it seems the size is run small, also before we washed it was longer than after the wash. Buy one size bigger will be better, you definitely want to consider the shrinking issues.
