Gate Strap Hinge - incorrect Diameter

The gate strap Hinge is sold as fitting 5/8" ( or .625" diameter) hinge pin. However, the hinge pins will not fit inside the hinge strap, at least not without a horrible struggle to enlarge the hole. I would like to get word back to the manufacturer that the hinge strap diameter needs ever so little enlarging, say 1.5MM to 2MM, (to >=16.00 MM) and issue is most likely due to worn tooling. I urge the responsible engineer to inspect parts at manufacturing using a .62" diameter pin and see for themselves why it doesn't fit. So close but assembly is not possible as is.
