Extended neck design conforms to building codes where an extended distance from the wall is required. Maximum spacing between brackets is 48". Wall studs are needed for handrail brackets to be installed properly. Tools required: marking pencil, power drill, 3/32" and 7/64" drill bit, and a handheld screwdriver.
