Handy to store quilting squares in!

These over-sized Zip Lock bags are perfect to keep quilting squares in! Many times the "square" is 10" or larger. They fit perfectly into these large zip lock bags. If you quilt, you should order some of these!

perfect size

I love these size of the Hefty slider storage bags. We can't get them in our stores anymore. I use them for all of my needlework, and also to put books in when I want to take them with me to a restaurant when I go out for lunch on rainy or snowy days. I like to keep my things in good condition. These large zip lock bags really do the job!

Great for Travel

These are nearly impossible to find locally. Sometimes you still see them at Target. I use them as a easy way to travel and stay organized. Big enough to use one for shampoos & toileteries. Another for meds, supplements, first aid. You get the idea. And you always know what's where for quick access. Stock up!

Good, strong bags for use in Sous Vide cooking.

I use the Hefty Bags for cooking with my 'sous vide' immersion heater. I found regular zipper type bags would sometimes rip open and water would enter, ruining the contents. With the price of beef lately I want good, strong bags and I have NEVER had any problems with Hefty Bags. I have cooked dozens of sous vide roasts by immersing the seasoned roast in a Hefty Bag and have never bothered using expensive and unnecessary vacuum bags and vacuum machine. Try them, you'll like them!

Great for Storage

I bought these for storage of craft supplies and toys. They are perfect! They are BIG. You could even use them for storing a sweater depending on size. They are great for kids puzzles and toys with lots of little pieces (Lego sets, Playmobil, train sets, etc) as the zippers are easy for kids to open and close themselves. These are not freezer bags, but the thickness is enough for what I need. They are also great for storing completed art and school work you want to protect. Another use - I live in a rental with limited space and have to store many things in the basement (like yarn) so I was a little worried to store it in this type of bag because of moisture and mildew, but they seem to seal it out very well so no problems so far at all. I see some comments saying there's only 12 but I received three boxes of 15 each, as advertised. I plan on buying the smaller sizes too for smaller items. I could not find this size in stores so I am very happy.

Great multipurpose bags!

I have used these bags for years having previously purchased them in the United States. However, since Covid came I have not travelled there. These bags are great for travelling to put shoes and other bulky items in. I really love them for putting my freshly baked pies into for freezing. I just wrap my pies in plastic wrap or foil and then pop into a bag. I reuse these multiple times. They are great for casserole dishes as well. I can think of many more uses for them. I was thrilled to see them on Amazon.ca. The price , I thought was comparable seeing I did not have to deal with exchange. Thanks Amazon.

Doesn't close

I had problems with every single one of these bags. They open but never close properly. Even if you are lucky to get one closed, the next time it won't close. Thought it might have been one or two faulty bags but I played around with these for ages trying to make them work. Complete waste of time and energy.

45 bags for under $20 and Hefty is correct!

Tried other imported junbo zipperbags both slidelock and zipper...crap-split and break ...Hefty lives up to its name I use them in my freezer drawer to keep my veggies in one bag fruit in another...potatoes in another bags of shredded cheese in another... keeps everything organized so you're not digging down to find what your looking for and saves on power bill...awesome!
