Works great.

This replaced my previous threshold, which had worn down and was leading in insects and cold air. It was easy to trim with a sharp jigsaw blade.

Seals the gap

This threshold is well-made and seems sturdy enough. I would hesitate before putting it anywhere it would take abuse beyond feet (for instance, hand trucks rolling over it), the metal seems strong enough for residential use, though. If you have a large gap you need to seal, I suggest this. I have used them several times, and the vinyl holds up well for a couple of years.

Inexpensive and worth the price.

Seal not compatible with threshold extrusion

I recieved the correct seal designed to slide into the extrusion before installing threshold but the incorrect extrusion that requires the seal to be installed after threshold installed. Parts are not compatible!! Not happy!!

I finally got around to installing this after buying it 2 years ago, and I am glad I did. I have the best looking threshold in my condo, it's even better than the entrance to the building!
