Vegas Golf: The ultimate on-the-course gambling game. Vegas Golf consists of real casino style chips, the object is to avoid the negative and obtain the positive chips. The High Roller edition features Vegas Golf's 8 original chips plus 6 new fun chips. Only one game is needed per foursome. Includes 14 main chips - 5 positive, 8 negative, and a wild card: Positive: 1 Putt, Birdie (1 under par), Chip in (chip in from off green), Sandy (up and down from sand trap in 2), Closest to the pin (closest to pin on par 3s) Negative: Water (ball goes into water), 8 Ball (8 or more strokes on a hole), 3 Putt Sand (ball goes into sand trap), Trees (ball hits a tree), Out of bounds (can include talking on cell phone), Lost Ball (5 minute limit), Un Lucky Seven (exactly seven strokes) Wild Card (positive or negative, group determines purpose of chip before teeing off) How to Play: The first player to hit a shot that corresponds with the designation on the chip is given that chip. He keeps that chip until someone else hits the same shot. The chip is then passed to the next player who makes that same shot. Example play: if a player goes into the sand, he holds that chip until another player goes into the sand. He then passes the chip to that player. The same holds true for the positive chips. The last player to get a one putt or a birdie is the one who gets the chip. Now for the good part! At the beginning of the round, each chip is assigned a designated dollar value. At the end of the round, those players holding the negative chips pay each player the designated amount for each chip he is holding. Those holding the positive chip will receive the same amount from each of the other players. The payoff is determined by the last golfer holding the chip. The cash-in is at the 19th hole.

These are fun, but expensive--MAKE YOUR OWN!
The chip game is very fun, but after losing a few of the chips, I bought another set and proceeded to lose a few more. These are not the cheapest things to buy, so decided to buy a bag of 100 wooden poker size chips from Amazon for $7.99 and simply use a Sharpie pen to make my own. No they're not as colorful, but the purpose is served. My group has made up new things that are worth positive or negative for money. For example--a "hazard par" where if you have to take a drop, but still par the hole or better, it's worth money. A silly, but fun negative coin we made up is the "wrong cart" coin where if someone in your group goes to put his clubs back in his bag but discovers he's at the wrong cart, that's a negative coin. .More we made up for coins are "6 on a par 3", "Shank-potamus" , "4 putt", "par-par", "birdie-birdie" and the vineyard coin (we play at Chardonnay at Napa and the course has many vineyards along the course). The possibilities are endless

Where is the beer chip
Where is the beer chip? I ordered this golf gambling game and I was so excited to receive it today. I do love it and it’s made very nice but the box that it comes in says game includes 15 casino style chips. The one that’s missing is the free beer chip. I really wish I had it. Still a great product and a very fun game, one of my friends have it so I knew I just wanted to have it as well.

Fun and funny
What's better than reminding a guy he's the last one in a bunker by marking his ball on the green with the "sand chip" while he rakes the sand. Adds some fun and humor to the game. There's not a lot of money riding on these, so the pressure that may come from avoiding the 3-putt chip is more of pride and honor. Just set the ground rules up first... ie. what does hitting a tree constitute... An attached leaf or solid wood? The wild-card chip can be used for good or bad and has typically been decided on it's meaning, during the round, and awarded accordingly. One guy got it for pulling the "oh s***" as if he hit a bad approach, and stuck it 3 ft from the pin. We let that slide until he pulled another "oh s***" on a 30ft putt... that he drained! Wild-card chip that day was the "oh-s***" chip. Another day came up to hole 17 and it still wasn't in play yet. There happened to be 2 deer at about 220yds, center fairway. It was thrown out as hit the deer, get the chip. Go figure, the first guy hit the deer (no deer were injured during the round). He was awarded the "deer" chip.... after we stopped laughing.

Great game for a foursome
I first learned of the Vegas Golf Game playing with an old friend a few months ago. After a full round (and losing both the match and the betting game, by the way), I knew I had to get a set for myself. The game is great, and this set has more chips that the one my friend brought to our last gameAMA Golf Vegas Game Includes 8 Game Chips , so there are even more ways to play with this 14-chip set. The chips are not made of the finest materials and quality could be better (that's why I gave it a 4 star rating), neither of which affect game play. Besides quality, the only draw back to this game is that it's not that fun to play with only one other golfer. The more the merrier, as they say. Hope this helps.

What a great way to play golf
What a great way to play golf, and you cannot get away with not getting a chip of some sort during the course of the game. Lots of laughs and you wonder who will get your chip next? You forget about the way you are playing and just worry about getting another chip that will cost you money if you are betting? But what fun!!!
