While Galvanized Dual Torq Deck Screws are fantastic for pressure treated woods, the finish may cause staining in cedar or redwood. FROM THE MANUFACTURER Galvanized Deck screws are specialized fasteners designed to resist corrosion in adverse outdoor environmental conditions. They are the preferred fastener for pressure treated lumber. Not recommended for cedar or redwood.
