Duotight fitting, not barbed
The product description needs to be updated. I was expecting a barbed end that you put 1/4" or 3/16" beer line tubing over, and then a clamp. This came with an end that needs a 1/4" Duo-tight fitting. Since I don't have any duo-tight equipment, my make-do solution was to wrap the stainless end with plumbers tape to make it wider, then pushing the beer line hose over that, then adding two clamps that are tightened very tight. I've been thinking about getting some DuoTight fittings, so I guess I'll order those two. It would have been helpful if this product was broken down into multiple selections in a dropdown. Stainless - barbed Stainless - duotight black plastic - barbed black plastic - duotight <--- what I received Other than that, it is what it is, a beer gun. I like that the plastic one is a lot lighter than the stainless one.

It's the updated one made for duo tight fittings.
Had for over a year now bought 2 both have been great about to buy a 3rd. Easy to take apart and clean haven't had any leaking issues that wasn't caused by user error. Get the duo tight fittings and tubing and never look back.

Good but could be better

Works as well as the more expensive, all steel version
Now that I've been using my nylon Pluto gun for several months, I've found that functionally it works just as well as my much more expensive stainless steel Pluto guns. Yes, it is much lighter and thus lacks the "heft" of my stainless steel ones. And may not survive a rampaging elephant. But other than that, it works just as well. It's not been taking on scratches or damage; disassembles and cleans just as easily; and doesn't feel as bone cold in my hand when I use it. (They all live inside my kegging "freezer".) All in all, I'm pleased with the nylon version and should I need another Pluto gun in the future, won't hesitate to buy nylon again.

Not the same in pic but great product!
Definitely black and plastic unlike the pic, but dont let it hold you back. I've purchased 3 of these and have not had any issues. Would recommend!!

Foam and Failure
It always created foam and after 1 corny keg, it leaks like sieve. useless

The one you'll get has black plastic handle and body
