Arrived damaged!

Arrived with small dents and numerous scratches across the entirety of the thermowell. Seeing how easy it is for microorganisms to get into these grooves and how difficult it is to eradicate them, I would not feel comfortable having this thing in contact with my fermenting beer. I know that sanding the thermowell down could help this issue, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect my purchase to come undamaged out of the box.

amazing product, works as it should keeping the seal and allowing for a temp controlled unit to go down in to the brew.

perfect for Anvil

I use this in conjunction with my Anvil thermostat and carboy heating pad, works great and it's a very economical setup.

Tight fit and seal

Works as intended. Tightly fit and seals on 6 gallon glass carboys, something I've had problems with when buying other brands of these.
