Good design, but ineffective and no heat!

Sadly, I didn't return this in time. While it seems to be durable, it just isn't effective. In order to get any real "massage," you have to continually press your foot down so the pressure works for you. I also feel like I'm constantly readjusting my foot just to find any real benefit. The massaging nodes are quite big (which I was initially drawn to) but they don't effectively massage the foot very well. The only way to get any massage in your arch areas is to place half your foot off the machine so the nodes tuck into your arches. And the heat option produces virtually NO heat. Overall, Homedics missed the mark on this product and I wasted nearly $100. :(

A nice foot massager...with heat option

Bought this after my wonderful Brookstone foot massager died, after more than 10 years of use. I used the coupon on the site so paid a bit less than the list price. I think the massager is fine for the price I paid, though it is not as deep a foot massage as the Brookstone that had larger knobs. You can, of course, press your feet deeper into the knobs as the product page suggests for a deeper massage. All in all, I'm satisfied with this product that has an optional heat setting. I recommend it as far as an affordable, good-sized product goes. No complaints.
