Included with the doorbell is a white, surface-mount push button made of weather resistant plastic. Requires 4 AA batteries that will last up to 2 years with typical use (not included). The illuminated halo (7 color options) and LED strobe alerts can be set to light up when the doorbell is pressed. Mute and Sleep modes silence notifications for 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours — or permanently — for adjustable use throughout the day. The volume can be adjusted up to 84 decibels or muted with the option to set notifications to visual lighting alerts only. Robust wireless signal provides range up to 250 feet and allows for doorbell to be portable or wall-mounted. Choose from 7 halo light colors and 6 tunes to create a truly personalized alert.

Great!

This has been a great added safety measure for my facility. The only thing is that sometimes its a little picky about how you press the bell. It chimes about 85% of the time. Sometimes it has to be pressed more than once before it rings.

Great product!

Been using it for a year, and it works great, I am powering mine from a usb, so I cannot vouch for battery life. Gives you options for which chime you want to use and it is has a good volume level if you are far away from it.

Not weatherproff

I bought this doorbell for my library staff area. Within days it stopped working and when I opened the push button to check the batteries, it was very wet. I had my maintenance person move the push button to another location and we plan to put tape on the push button if I can ever get it working again. Now when the batteries are placed in the push button the doorbell won't stop ringing. I rarely ever write a negative review, but this was so disappointing.

Nice touch to a home!

We've used three of these at a rental property. What a nice touch. It looks great and works perfectly. The tenants are super happy and love that they are wireless, have 6 tunes to choose from (or mute when napping) and they look fantastic with any decor. The added bonus of being able to move them anywhere you want is terrific! Highly recommend.

Item shipped with dead battery

Initial instructions were easy to follow, but the push button was not paired with the doorbell. When I followed the instructions to connect the push button, the pairing was not successful. I ended up replacing the coin battery in the push button which solved the problem. My issue: the product shipped with a dead CR2032 battery which is an additional cost, and the troubleshooting instructions did not list replacing the CR2032 battery as a potential solution. All it says is that the doorbell will beep when the battery is low, yet this is not possible if the push button is not paired.

Good Value, Good Quality

The design is very useful as it allow both wall mount or just place on a flat surface without the need to wall mount it. It also has both options for power supply on the main unit. It could be use with batteries or connect directly to a power socket using a microUSB that is not supplied in the package. Charm volume is high enough for my house size. Charm quality is also good. Happy with the purchase. The door bell remote control should be water proof because there is an o-ring in the remote control. So I believe it is water proof.

It works as advertised, and robustly built.

Had tested the doorbell speaker unit's range as far and obscured as inside the bathroom; it worked. Intuitively designed, as such making sense of the buttons functions makes the owner's manual redundant - maybe it's just me, but it really is easy to operate or customise settings. A good choice, Honeywell. You get what you pay for. Howecer, my contention isn't with the product but Amazon's Tracking updates - as unreliable and unpredictable as climate change.

Simple and sturdy design

No regret getting this. It is functional and easy to setup, the design is presentable and can be placed in my living hall. The chimes playback quality is great.
