Good filters….very expensive for how long they work

These are designed for the humidifier, and are more effective and last longer than a variety of less expensive options.

I have tried the other brands of filter and they don't work good. I always come back and buy the honeywell ones they are the best.

Little bigger than OEM

Had to trim them to fit in my Honeywell humidifier. Small issue which was quickly forgotten when I remembered how much I saved vs OEM price. Definitely recommend.

A bit of an upgrade to what came with it

There is a blue filter side, akin to HVAC mesh filters, along with the cellulose wicking part. original was just the cellulose part. Probably a good thing since the factory one ended up with some brownish/black spots I can only assume was bacteria or mold. Curious if this one gets anything like that, else I'll drop in some silver to prevent that sort of thing...

Last for about month before mildew starts to form

These function very well for the purpose of wicking up water for the humidifier. Even though they are advertised as 99.99% mold growth inhibiting, they will eventually start showing signs of mildew. I'm getting about a month out of each filter before that starts to occur. By then, there are hard water spots starting to show up and it's ready to be replaced anyway. I did have better luck / longer lifespan of the filters by using soft water (jugs of distilled water), but it's very expensive keeping one of these units topped off with anything but tap water during the winter season. Be sure to face the blue side outwards; away from the unit.

Perfect fit!

These were the perfect size and work better than the filter that came with the humidifier.
