Effective but horribly uncomfortable

Effective. Very uncomfortable. Difficult to find, latch lower strap. No way to grab but by canisters which then come off.

Kept The Over Spray Out of My Nose

The mask was comfortable and easy to adjust. The first filter collected a lot (A LOT) of over spray dust. After two days of spray painting there was zero (NO) telltale paint residue around my nose or on the tissue when blowing my nose. This did an excellent job for me. I have reordered replacements for the first, or outer, filter. I did like the plastic catch on the retaining straps located at the back of my neck; it made taking the mask on and off much easier. Why the four star rating you ask? It seemed to me that the elastic straps had to be continually tightened to maintain an air tight seal with my face. It appeared that the elastic continually stretched.

Seems to work well

Seems to work well. Seems well-made. Smells like rubber though. Not a pleasant wearing experience. I guess I will take that over breathing in paint fumes

Worth every penny

I am a respiratory therapist. In the hospital I am working with patients in isolation for COVID-19. The cookie-cutter one size fits all N95 masks hurt my nose and honestly don't seal on me very well. So I bought this respirator hoping for the best. It is comfortable, very adjustable, lite weight, and I wear it almost the entire twelve hour shift. It seals great without hurting me. I recommend it to anyone!

Not giving medical advice-

I’m using this as an alternative to the N95 in the hospital/covid setting. I am a nurse, got this model cleared through our RT department. I haven’t been able to smell through this, can easily talk but extended wear, the sweat on my faces causes it to shift a little.

Effective, good value, and available to mere mortals

In these trying Covid times, many of us are turning to unfinished jobs around the home. Mine was painting with epoxy paint. Trouble is, unless you’re a first responder, you can’t buy a respirator for love or money. This was the only one I could buy. Sure beats inhaling toxic vapors!

I was happy with the quality and function. I used this filter when I painted the house. I had no discomfort from the sanding debris or from painting fumes. low voc paint. the fit strap was easy to adjust even while wearing gloves.
