Good product
I love this kettle. Has adjustable temperature and keep warm

Fast and pretty
This is our third one of these, and although they wear out after 2-3 years of constant use, it's worth the money because: 1) It holds enough to make several cups of tea, etc. 2) It's fast, and the continuous temperature reading helps gage readiness for delicate teas. 3) It's pretty, and you can see what's happening. 4. The handle is substantial and makes handling boiling water safer. 5. The instructions are clear and the options are easy to understand and control. All around, an important tool in our kitchen!

Tea Stains not rust
I drink tea every day and wanted something to make it easy. This kettle does the trick. I was a little worried about the other reviews showing the "rust" on the bottom of the kettle, but was skeptical that rust could begin so quickly. After a week of using the kettle, sure enough the "rust" showed up on the bottom (1st pic). I used a paper towel to wipe it and yep it was tea stains, but wouldn't wipe off easily. A couple years ago a friend suggested Efferdent to remove tea stains off my travel mugs, which worked great. So I tried it on the kettle (2nd pic) - with just a little water (about 1/2 inch) and two tablets of the Efferdent cleaned it up nicely (3rd pic). I rinse until the smell of the Efferdent goes away and it is just like new. The keep warm feature took a little figuring out since the directions in the manual were not only not clear, but seems to have been translated from another language. What it should say is push the warming button, set the temperature and press the power button - easy peasy. Actually you can get quite a bit longer time than 60 minutes for the keep warm feature since you reset it each time you remove it from the base. Overall, I like this kettle and just cleaning it once a week or so with Efferdent should keep it sparkling. I'm am happy I purchased this and when this one bites the dust, will buy another one.

The tea steeper doesn't go down far enough for smaller amounts of tea but I love it anyway.
Update: I needed to add to this review something that I forgot until just this minute when I ended up with hot tea all over my counter and backsplash. If you plan on boiling, don't fill it over 1 liter or at least put some towels around it because when it is fuller than that it spews tea all over the place. This is a great tea kettle. It heats up the water fast. I have used it numerous times in the short time I have had it. I just have two problems with it. I've only been able to get it to stay on warm twice so either I'm doing something wrong or there is a problem with the kettle. I followed the directions every time until I gave up. I wish I could use the warm function because that is the specific reason I bought this one but luckily it heats up fast enough that I can deal with that. The other thing is that the tea steeper/strainer doesn't go far enough down to make smaller amounts of tea. You have to fill it up to 1.5 liters in order to immerse the strainer all the way in the water. Compared to my previous electric kettle though, it is a far better kettle. It looks nice too. I haven't had it that long so I can't speak to the durability of it. All that being said, I absolutely love it.

I really like that I can adjust the temp.
Yes, it will boil at 212 but, that's too hot for coffee. Well, my coffee anyway....mainly my lips and tongue....haha..... I choose to drop it down to 190 or so. I sometimes go in the other room and I can listen to the buzzer that sounds when it's ready. And it's pretty with the blue lights shining

Keep warm function doesn't work
I bought this kettle for its keep-warm function. There are dozens of electric glass kettles on Amazon and other sites but only this one offered the keep-warm option. I've had it for a week, and the keep-warm function doesn't work anymore. I've read the manual. I press the right button (7) and then + or - to select the temperature. It turns off a few seconds after that, and doesn't warm up anything. All the reviews for this kettle were positive, one more proof that you shouldn't really trust reviews that much. I contacted manufacturer customer support, they didn't reply yet. There are few other things I don't like about it but they weren't deal breakers as long as it warmed the water. The tea strainer isn't really removable. I trusted an answer here in Q&A section, and it was misleading. Yes, technically you can unscrew it but then the middle part of the lid falls off. There is nothing else to secure the middle - which holds the strainer - to the rest of the lid. So, even though it's removable, the lid becomes unusable. I removed the strainer cup and used the lid with the metal pole and the strainer cup's lid sticking out of it, which looks ridiculous and is useless. The manufacturer could have provided a cheap little screw to secure the middle part to the rest of the lid so you could remove the strainer completely. Another problem is with the water markings. I used to have a tea kettle that had oz markings on one side of it and mL on another side which was very convenient. I have no idea why no other kettle manufacturers thought of this useful and practical option. Every other kettle uses 0.5L, 1L and 1.5L markings. This kettle offers an additional 2 dots between each half a liter. So it divides half a liter into 3. For what purpose? So I would know where 0.16L (or 5.4 oz) mark is? It makes no sense whatsoever. I can use a 0.5 L mark instead of a 16oz, but who needs 0.16L or 5.4 oz marks? The manufacturer obviously gave this option no thought at all, as well as to the usability of the lid without the strainer. I also don't care for the constant beeping. A signal for the end of boiling is fine, but what's with the beeping every time you move the kettle? Why do I need a beep every time I put the kettle down? In case I don't realize I'm putting it down? These design failures weren't deal breakers for me but they are an annoying oversight. Edit: Manufacturer failed to reply, so I'll be returning this kettle. Too bad. I really needed a kettle that would keep the water warm that is not as expensive and inconvenient as Japanese style warmers (I used to have one, and I prefer a glass kettle that you can lift and pour water out of, instead of using constant force to press the button for a thin stream of water).

**UPDATE** DONT BUY THIS!!!**
***UPDATE: I bought this kettle on Sept 20 and now the base is toast and the kettle has stopped working. Complete JUNK!! Don't waste your money! Now I have to figure out what to do since the seller is the secondary seller now and Amazon as the primary. I have heard nothing from the seller ( Deal Goods ) ( original 5 star review has been removed ) ::I do not recommend this kettle::. I do recommend the stainless steel Hamilton Beach 1.7 L Variable Temperature Kettle that can be bought at Walmart.ca with a 90 day return period. It has a 5 year warranty.

Very terrible experience.
First of all, I did abide by the instructions to avoid stains carefully. I am honestly the guy who reads the manuals in details. It being a glass kettle, it became important for me to avoid disgusting stains at the bottom. Therefore, I've never poured anything into the kettle UNLESS IT IS WATER AND WATER ONLY. Within the first year, I started getting occasional stains on the bottom. I would use the recommended vinegar boiling procedures to remove them, and it would work. Now two years later, the stains persist, and unless I de-stain daily, they accumulate and become disgusting. If you want to buy a glass kettle that lasts a couple of months only, I surely would recommend this one. Otherwise, don't rush into buying this. It is very hectic and annoying to take care of it, to the point where I'd rather boiling water on the stove like our ancestors back during the stone-age.

NutriChef Digital Hot Water Glass Kettle does not work due to electrical issue
NutriChef Digital Hot Water Glass Kettle - 1.7L Portable Easy Pour Teapot Boiler - Electric Coffee Brewer Tea Heater This product does not work after 9 month used. It quickly shut off and does not boil water any more. We tried different electrical outlet and clean up the connector etc but it does not keep the kettle on and turn off without boiling water. So can't boil the water for tea. Too bad. is there any warranty on this product. We bought this Kettle on March 2019. Thanks You Arshad Imam 905-616-4141

Auto shutoff doesn’t work
I’ve had this for about 4 years now. At first it worked great. But lately I’ve noticed that the auto shutoff is not working properly. When water reaches boiling temperature the kettle doesn’t turn off and instead will continue to boil. Sometimes when you have tea in the pot or if cleaning using a diluted vinegar, you have to watch the kettle closely because it will continue boiling to the point that the liquid will over flow. Be careful in making the decision to buy this.

Not a good quality!! !!!
Returned the first one since it was licking at the bottom. The second one started licking again after few weeks and fortunately I c oh of return it since it was still in the return window. The third one again started licking after few month then it stopped working one day and didn’t bring the water to boil anymore. So disappointing!!!!
