Leg too tight/get size up

Baby 15 lbs 6 months. Petite child. Leg zipped too tight on 6-9months. Might have been OK for 3-6m. Bought 9/1 tried it on 10/29. Otherwise cut soft snuggly but uncomfortable in upper thigh groin area. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Wanted to love this purchase. Don't buy in advance like I did.

So soft, plush and warm, sizing inconsistent

My daughter is on the petite side. She is 8 months and 6-9 months usually fits but is a little big. I bought a whole bunch of these sets on sale and some fit her perfect while others in different colors and same size were too snug. Idk why they do that.
