... cut out under a garden shed and it performed like a champ

I bought this suit to do a recent cut out under a garden shed and it performed like a champ. I didn't get stung once! It is super quality. The zippers are secure, the seams are well constructed and the ventilated panels are a life-saver here in sunny warm southern California. I consulted their customer service to determine the correct size to order and their recommendation was perfect. I'm female, 5"5" and 130 lbs. andI got a size Medium. It's slightly big but that's good - more baggy buffer zone between me and the bees! The legs are a little long for me but that means the elastic straps pull the hems down over the tops of my shoes and I feel secure that no bees will climb up my pant legs. The veil is roomy and keeps my face protected. Pockets are handy and in the right place for phone, hive tool, etc. Knee pads are comfortable. After two days lying in the dirt digging under the floor joists to access this colony, the suit isn't very dirty but looks like it will stand up well to multiple washings. It's a great suit at a great price, highly recommended!

Not a bad suit

It could offer a little give for movement. I bought the size power chart recommendation, but bending/squatting creates a tight fit. I'm 5'3"-ish and I'm a size 10-12 in women's clothing, ordered a medium. Overall quality is great, though, and I've yet to have a stinger great through, not even the bald face hornets that harass my girls at the end of the season. It's breathable, you'll still be hot in august, but not "swimming in a pool of your own exhaustion" hot.

Don't skimp on your suit

I'm new to beekeeping. I ordered a cheaper half suit and then thought better of it after seeing it. I wanted to save money (nevermind that I just dropped like $1400 on three hives) but you know what, knowing you're going to be comfortable and sting free is priceless. This suit is well worth the money. It is thoughtfully designed, well made, and comfortable to wear. I'm confident that I will never have to buy another suit as long as I keep bees. Don't be stingy, get a GOOD suit. BTW, I'm 5"10" 170lbs and a large suit fit me perfectly. Thank you Humble Bee - I love your name :)

Very Comfortable Bee Suit

I wear this suit to trim hillside bushes in a tropical environment. I'm allergic to the wasps that nest in the bushes and this suit protected me from getting stung. It was comfortable to work in and I had good visibility in the hood. I also liked that I could put it on by myself. The hood unzips from the front and I could insert a straw to drink water without taking the entire hood off. It is very well ventilated, too. I took the advice of others and bought a large, which enables me to bend over comfortably. I'm 5'8".

I love Humble Bee Suits!

Purchased as a second suit that can fit inside the Humble Bee 420 suit for removing Africanized Bees (Killer Bees) that I occasionally run into in my area. It works perfectly for this application and would probably also work for yellow jackets and hornets that have longer stingers than honey bees. Humble Bees customer service is also fantastic. My 420 suit that I purchased about 6 months ago had a problem with the veil and Humble Bee sent me a replacement veil very quickly. Great company!

very satisfied! needed a high quality ventilated for my 7 year old, we live in texas. while i knew this would run large for my child, i was able to make a small adjustment and it works perfectly! the best part is it will work for him for years to come! i would like to say this runs true to size, i adapted it to fit my 7 year old. highly recommend and would buy it again

Beez n me are Happy.

I am a beginning Bee guy so have some experienced folks helping out. They were favorably impressed with the suit and I got good reviews on my performance so ... owe it to the great suit. Excellent protection. Easy to suit up. Sweaty here in Hawaii but guess that comes with territory. Thanks for the extra effort and great product.

165 lb and it fits comfortably over my regular clothing

After reading many reviews I chose the large and it fits perfectly. I'm 5'10", 165 lb and it fits comfortably over my regular clothing. Haven't tried with winter clothing yet but seems like plenty of room. Good quality and glad I got the ventilated suit cause it's hot with street cloths underneath and the temps are just in the mid to upper 70's.

Bee suit

Hello, I purchased your medium size humbleness suit on.... March at £184. I received it in perfect condition and went ahead and used it to inspect my bees on the 25th March. I was stung countless times by my bees while in your suite and later had a severe episode later on that night while asleep. I therefore feel that your suite doesn't meet the safety standards stated. Further to this the suite is now retailing at £113 less than a week after purchase.

Fits perfectly according to the sizing guide. Occasionally the veil rests against my face but by wearing a cap underneath, the brim pushes it far away enough.

Great quality but on small size

Excellent quality in construction and materials, however I'm an average size 5'2 and this XL feels slim. I had previously purchased an XXL on sale and it was massive, could fit two people in it so I thought the XL would be baggy. It was not.

Falscher Artikel!!!

Bestellt hatte ich den Imkeranzug Modell 431 Größe XS, jedoch bekam ich nur eine Imker-Jacke Modell 320 Größe L! Anscheinend wurde nicht mal der Unterschied auf den nebeneinander klebenden Etiketten bemerkt! Der Artikel geht natürlich zurück!
