Perfect fit. Super simple installation

I had to replace this on a hunter pgv valve. I was quoted $175 for a new valve plus $100 in labor... outrageous. This was an easy plug and play replacement. Just get som water tight wire nuts to replace your old ones.there is a good video from hunter on how to replace the solenoid if you want to be more comfortable.

Doesn't fit - Says Hunter but I have my doubts

The threads are not the same. Knew something was wrong when I screwing it in. Very loose and lightly tighten at the end but tried it anyway. Sprung a leak straight away. It even says hunter on the side but I have my doubts. Waited 3 weeks for this part, so don't even want to deal with this. Summer will be over soon. ????????????

Hunter Solenoid Valve replacement worked like a charm!

One solenoid valve in my home sprinkler system went kaput 2 years ago. Last year I had difficulty having it fixed, either the repair guys couldn't be bothered, or they charged quite a bit. I discovered Amazon, ordered the parts and replaced it myself- now its working again!

Defective after 4 months

After 4 months of use one of the units I bought (bought 2) has seized. The valve no longer would open.
