Great for bedroom that already has lighting.

Installed in bedroom to replace older fan with light. Since just installed LED lights in ceiling, didn't need a light on the fan. Color matches great with oil brushed bronze decor and is very quiet when on.

Great Value

Excellent directions made for an easy install. Removed the old fan and installed this one in about 1.5-2 hours. Putting the rubber washers in the fan blades took the most time and is a bit tedious. The fan balanced (no wobble) and moves a decent amount air on high. This is the 3rd one of these I’ve installed and it’s a good value.

Great Replacements for Several Old Ceiling Fans

I purchased three of these Hunter ceiling fans to replace ones which were over 25 years old. The fans appear to be much better than the ones they replace. I have several thoughts about installation. 1) Although the fan comes with extra screws, one fan was missing 2 canopy screws. I used one of these extra screws and had another left over from another fan installation. 2) There are 2 types of installations which both use a nicely designed metal cradle with rubber feet. One installation attaches the cradle to the ceiling electrical box. The other installation attaches the cradle to the ceiling cross beam. The assemble kit includes two 3 inch screws which will go thru the ceiling plaster board and into the beam. But, you will need a 6 inch 5/32 drill bit to drill the hole. This later type of installation is not illustrated in the directions. The fan installation will take 2-3 hours depending on your tools and experience. I think you will be pleased with the result. 5Oct17 Just installed my fourth fan. This installation attached to an electrical box in the ceiling using two screws (not provided). It was difficult to install the canopy screws which attaches the canopy to the ceiling bracket & covers the bracket and electrical connectors. The 1 cm machine screws Hunter provides need to be longer and would benefit from being tapered. The hole in the bracket could also be lower (further from the ceiling). I ended up using my own screws. Otherwise the installation was easy and I continue to be pleased with the product.

Great fan, amazing value

This is a quality built fan. It is very quiet and it moves a lot of air. Fantastic value! It is rare to find a product where the assembly instructions are good, but these instructions are amazing. They are well thought out and very easy to follow. We liked this fan so much we purchased two more.

Looks great!

Looks aren’t everything. I would have kept this fan if it wasn’t noisy. We have had Hunter Fans in the past and all of them were very quiet no noise at all. We moved and needed a fan for our bedroom. We like a fan running to circulate the air while we are sleeping. This fan was too noisy for me to sleep. My husband read and tried everything that was suggested nothing got rid of the noise. If you need your fan to very quiet this fan is not for you.
