Husky straight couplers are perfect for safe towing of 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch trailers. Husky straight couplers are built to the highest industry standards, tested and certified to meet VESC Reg. V-5, SAE Erg. J-684F. For increased safety, each Husky straight coupler includes a safety pin as an additional means of securing the ball clamp in a locked position (safety pin is required to be used at all times) and a safety chain to eliminate loss of the safety pin. The quick release assembly allows for fast and safe locking and unlocking of the ball clamp for convenient hook-up and disconnect. Sleeve packaged.

Made My Life Easier

I changed out the old garden trailer "pin" type coupler with this Husky. This is just one more thing that has made my life easier. Good product. Good Price. 9/19 Update: Sometimes the coupler won't fit onto the ball. I have to lay on my back and re position a lever for it to work. A quick fix will be to drill and insert a screw to prevent the lever from coming out. PIA.

Heavy Duty materials and well made and was delivered much faster then expected.

Just as described, almost

The coupler has a self-locking latch (the pin is an extra safety), and fits the 2.5 channel loosely but well enough. The included installation instructions tell you to use 1/2" bolts to secure it, but the holes in the coupler are actually only 3/8", and I'm assuming that 3/8 bolts are more than adequate for a Class I accessory.

Pleased

Replaced the coupler on my harbor freight fold up trailer. This coupler seems to be more heavy duty than the one it replaced. I did have to drill a few new holes though.

some parts cheaply made. does not go on ball all of the time. would have bought locally if I had it to do over again. Would have bought a better hitch.
