A great product, but make sure you have extra bolts

Though I had a professional chimney company install these caps, the bolts that came with these caps did not screw in far enough to hold tight onto my chimney. Essentially, the bolts which came with these caps weren’t long enough but luckily I had extra bolts/screws to secure the caps tightly onto my chimney. They are looking great and also keeping out bats and other critters!????

not bad but not made squarely

First, it barely fit my chimney. In itself, thats ok except that you cannot use the included screws that came with it because the screws have a taper and have to be inserted about 3/8" before they contact the flue and there was not 3/8" clearance as it fit so tightly. I predrilled holes in the 4 flat edges and used other screws. The real complaint is that the steal band was not parallel to the top, so the cap is tilted slightly. Its on a tall chimney so I doubt anyone will notice but it should have been made with a tighter tolerance.
