Good replacement

It’s a little larger diameter than the original but with a couple of hose clamps works perfectly. Long enough that I can replace two more times when needed. Good value for the money.

Direct replacement

I bought this to replace the old torn factory hose that came with my pool fountain. It was a direct replacement, and the fountain now works as it should. I have only had it in the pool for a couple of weeks so the real test will see how long it lasts, but it is an inexpensive fix and easy to replace

Extremely disappointed

I was encouraged by the hose when I first opened up. There were no seams that were fused together to make the hose so I was optimistic that this would work for my three tier fountain in need of a replacement hose. My pump is a 1.5 HP and I was careful only to connect the fountain over one of the three holes on my return water spout to be careful and not put too much pressure on the hose. Well, it lasted over night but was noticeably stretched out when I had to readjust the fountain the next morning as it had drifted closer to this side of the pool. I cut about a foot off that I didn't need and got it going again. Later that morning, as I sat on my deck cooling off from grass cutting, the fountain stopped spraying up in the air. Upon examination of the HydroTools Hose Replacement, I could see the the hose had burst with a large gash across it being unable to handle the pressure of the water running though it for just one day. So the money spent for this hose is lost and I still have no working fountain for my pool much to my and my family members disappointment.

Great job.

Just what I needed for my pool fountain. It is made of a durable material that I think will last for years. Was a lot less than the pool places wanted for it. Great job.

this was as advertised and a great price.

This was a replacement for the original hose purchased when we got the fountain. It was too small on one end to fit onto the connector. I had to cut about 1 foot off for it to fit. Otherwise, this was as advertised and a great price.
