Simple but highly functional - easy installation, super storage!

Getting our garage organized always seems to be a chore but the Hyloft storage systems help tremendously. We have owned two of the hyloft ceiling systems for several years and they have performed wonderfully. Recently we are updating the garage cabinets and shelving units but opted to keep the hyloft systems in place and actually add to them. This was one of the items we added and so glad we did! Installation is super easy - it takes only a minute or two and requires no tools. Just slip over the existing hyloft platform. We are storing a 16 foot ladder and have a bit of room left over for other items. Our garage has ample ceiling space so the hyloft plus this still provide plenty of space overhead - if you have smaller garage ceiling heights then be sure to measure in advance. Otherwise, terrific addition to a terrific product. Makes it easy to store cumbersome ladders or other extra long items without the need to struggle getting out or putting back into place.

I really love my HyLoft system in my garage

I really love my HyLoft system in my garage. I purchased the racks at my local Home Depot and had my contractor put them up. They save me so much space and are very sturdy. I needed an unobtrusive way to store my aluminum ladder, and these rack accessories are definitely the bomb. Space them as far apart as you need for almost any sized ladder and they'll suspend it cleanly and securely. There's a little wiggle when sliding the ladder off, but these things won't come off the rack due to the way they're designed. The finish is sturdy too, so metal on metal contact won't cause any significant damage.

The best addition to my overhead racks!

Storing a ladder is always a PitA. Put it on a wall and it's often difficult to reach. Lean it against something and it's prone to falling over and likely in the way all the time. I bought a set of these hangers and store my 8' step ladder under our ceiling storage racks. I like it so much I bought another set to hang my 4' stepladder in the same manner.

Sturdy and very useful

This storage rack is very useful and can hold lots of different stuff. I didn't realize how large these storage racks are and they are extraordinarily sturdy. I put a ladder, ironing board and step stool on them and there is still plenty of room for more stuff. One thing to keep in mind before purchasing this add on is they do hang pretty low so if you are installing the actual storage racks in a space that doesn't have too much room below it (i.e. above a garage door) then you might not be able to use this item. Would definitely recommend this item and clears a lot of space for the large bulky items.
