Very sturdy (and heavy) rotation meter

Very sturdy (and heavy) rotation meter. The jaws are big enough to grab onto big lugs found in higher amperage panels and the cord is plenty long to get this to an easily-viewable location. The only downside to this tool (in my opinion) is that the phase LEDs only come on when you press the TEST button, and are not on automatically which to me seems like a safety oversight (let the operator know there is voltage present). i know, you should already know that when connecting, but other rotation meters i have used light up as soon as you have the second phase connected.

alligator clips way to large !

Tester works well even to as low 15 hz but the clips on the leads are really large which makes it difficult if not impossible to connect without removing the motor leads and adding wire from the lugs to the clips.
