Very good rack

I am using this for over 6 months now and it seems to hold up very well even though I have loaded with 10 heavy coats. The only problem I had was that sometimes when I closed the door one of the coats got trapped inside but this has nothing to do with the rack. I really like the way it looks also, it is very elegant it doesn't look cheap at all. Just be careful with the dimensions, it has about 48 cm width. This might be a problem if there is mechanism over your door. I couldn't use it over the bathroom door I was initially planning to because of that. The over the door width is 4.5 cm but it can also fit smaller doors if you use some foam to stabilize it in place. And one last thing just make sure that there enough gap over your door ( more than 0.2 cm), otherwise you won't be able to close the door with the rack over it. I would definitely buy that again.

Very easy to use with NO tools needed.

Love this product. Only drawback is that it is very high and I'm short. If it were a few inches longer, it would be more accessible.

Solid, nice looking and fits

This door hook is great for hanging over my closet door. I live in a newer condo and all of our interior doors are a type of metal or some kind of synthetic material that my guess is for fire retardation - they're not real wood, at any rate, just textured with a wood grain look (sure they look nice, but still not real). Therefore, in order to have hooks, you either have to have adhesive hooks or use over the door. The over the door hooks are the only ones that can take a wet towel, a coat, a robe or a purse. This nice dual hook is great. Fits over our doors (which are painted white, so we got the chrome) and is weighty and solid - it's not a flimsy piece of metal. It looks nice, is solid quality and works.

Needs shimming to fit most doors

Nice quality. Adequate strength. Problem is the loose fit of the upper brackets. This item should come with some white plastic or other type of shim material with an adhesive backing so that a buyer could 'shim to fit' the hanger assembly to varied door thicknesses. Without such shims, the bracket slides along the door and catches in the door closing - bad!
