tight at ankle
I work outside and have bought and used many different types of thermals. Polypropylene is definitely my favorite. It wicks away moisture & keeps you fairly warm & dry in the rain. The only issue I have with these is that one of the ankle cuffs is tight (the other ankle is fine). Just a manufacturing error I guess. It's not noticiable when I wear them, but getting them off is a hassle on that side, because it is really tight pulling it off over my foot and I'm sort of thinking it will probably rip eventually. I should have exchanged them but I needed them at the time.

NOT tall. Otherwise OK.
These arrived today. Seem well made, for the price. I’m 6’2” 210 lb 36” waist, so going by suggested size I ordered the large tall. They fit, barely. These are NOT tall. I don’t have particularly long legs (usually get a 32” pant) and these are barely long enough to wear. I’ll keep them since they were under $20 but I’ll keep an eye out for a better pair that’s actually tall. I guess you do get what you pay for. For someone under 6’ and with a 36” waist these in large, tall would be a great deal. I shudder to think how short the regular (non-tall) version is.

keeps me warm- not too scratchy
Not as soft as cotton or sik long underwear, but definitely warmer.

The Right Stuff
This is the best product I've found anywhere and has served me well though many winters working outside in the communications business in GA and Ohio. Please be advised. Wash it, but DON'T PUT these garments in a DRYER. they will shrink if you do. Place them on a hanger and they will be ready to wear in a couple of hours. So guys, if you are married; best insist on doing your own laundry, during winter months. I am in right in the middle of the L to XL size zone but I always order slightly bigger with these, so I go with XL. They are very comfortable and make a tremendous difference in insulating against cold weather. If I'm working outside and the sum of forecasted high and low is below 100, I'll add this extra layer. Now that I'm retired, and don't expect long hours outside; I'll still wear them around the house if the sum is below 80.

VERY COMFORTABLE!
light wieght but are very warm, with out making me sweaty. I live in the hill country north-west of San Antonio. my day starts out in the dark with the temp usually around 30 degrees or lower, but by mid day it in the mid 50s (Jan,Feb) I am outdoors most of that time. They dont bind in the groin area when bending, kneeling or jumping in and out of the truck. They also serve as very comfortable PJ too. If you are put in colder weather I would probably go heavier, but look for the same company!

no butt
If you don't have a butt, these may be the base layer for you. Me, I found them to run a little small in the caboose. They were not roomy in the rear. They were a little tight in the thighs. Basically, they were tall enough, but too small for their size.

These come recommended by some of the best outdoorsmen I know.
It's nice that these don't make you look too dorky. If you're over 6 feet be sure to get a tall size; that way you get full coverage over the ankle. Looking forward to trying them out in the mountains in late September of this year.

Mal diseño
El diseño no es bueno y el tiro de la entfepierna no permite usarlo debajo de los pantalones
