Don’t spend $$$$ on a blow dryer

I have had many different brands and price points and these smaller cheaper travel blow dryer’s always outlast their more expensive counterparts(hello drybar buttercup). It has a variety of settings from the fan to the heat, and folds for easy storage. It also seems to cause less damage to my hair than others I have used in the past, so I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good blow dryer, regardless of budget.

Compact and packs a punch

Pros: very powerful, small, cool stays cool, attachment attaches firmly, can fit the xtava orchid diffuser Cons: louder than other hair dryers I’ve used, the back will suck your hair up lickety split if given the opportunity All in all, I think this is a great hair dryer. It dries my hair faster than my sister’s other conair hair dryer and actually stays cool when set to cool (I’m not sure I’ve ever had a hair dryer do that). The loudness can be a lot sometimes but I do have ear plugs I can use. My biggest issue is that I have long hair and if I’m not careful, it’ll get sucked up in the back. This is simple enough to prevent with extra care but still a little annoying. I think it’s because the motor is so powerful and it has a short barrel, because the mesh screen on the back is equivalent to other hair dryers I’ve used and I never had an issue with those ones. But for your money, I’m not sure there’s another hair dryer that would do a better job. I’d be interested to see how it compares to the non-compact version.

Powerful but...

Powerful small device, hot is hot, cool is cool, the cool shot option is kind of pointless. The back vent is, however, beware, is super strong sucking because of how short the motor and model is. So for long hair, be extra careful and mindful cause your hair may be sucked in. For short hair like me, it is wonderful. The noise is extremely loud by the way, I can get myself pass that.

Xtava Black Orchid Does Fit

I read that others were having issues attaching their Xtava Black Orchid to this hair dryer and that Conair had somehow changed the design to make it incompatible. I can confirm that my attachment fits like a glove as if they were made for each other, I can even shake it around and the diffuser won't come off. Make sure you always purchase authentic products, there are a lot of fake Black Orchid diffusers out there that won't fit properly.

Awesome little dryer

This dryer is really powerful for being 1/2 the size of a regular blow dryer. My hair is nice and smooth after. I have thick wavy hair and like to use the blow dryer to straighten. This dryer worked great. It’s not as light as I expected but it is much lighter than a full size. I like that it’s small with all the power of a full size

Perfect size, good quality

So far so good. Was looking for a decent blow dryer for regular use. Didn’t need anything over the top being a guy with medium length hair. This came with the concentrator which was a plus. Feels well made and works well. Not crazy loud, but has two speed and heat settings which is nice. The cool shot button is good. This feels like a travel sized dryer without the compromise of a DC motor and limited functions. Happy with the purchase.

Small in size but powerful

One of the best hair dryers I’ve ever had, feels very sturdy, compact and sleek, yet the power is no less than those professional salon models. It’s not super light weight and it doesn’t have dual voltage, so it’s not convenient for travelling but I only use it at home anyway. Great product for the price.

Buena pero..

Pros: Para viajes está muy bien, el tamaño es compacto además de que ya cuenta con un plástico para poder enredar el cable de forma apropiada. Cuenta con un difusor para pelo lacio. La fuerza que tiene es buena para su tamaño. No pesa mucho por lo que no agrega mucho peso innecesario a la maleta. Contras: Sin el difusor, no cuenta con aire muy caliente así que si tienes mucho pelo o lo tienes muy grueso puede que tome tiempo en secarlo. Para poder disfrutar de un "buen" calor para secar el pelo es necesario usar el difusor lo malo es que ya no es tan disperso el aire. Solamente cuenta con el difusor de pelo lacio, no contiene difusor para pelo rizado. En otra nota: La secadora está bien si la comparas con las secadoras de hotel ya que esas puede tomar un tiempo en secarte el pelo además de no tener buena potencia. Es una buena adquisición desde mi punto de vista.

Good little hair dryer that works very well and isn't too power hungry

3 temperature settings, 2 speed settings, and a cool blast button, this little hair dryer is the best of half a dozen other hair dryers I tried out. Just wish it had a multi-voltage button, would be perfect. Happy with purchase in any case.

Hair dryer I've had. Powerful. Maneuverable. Really does blow cool, although I don't notice a difference between cool and cold shot. Cord is just a bit short, but not bad.
