The Birdie is a slow, straight flyer with our Thumtrac grip for a sure release. It has great chain catching ability. Great for approach shots, as it flies straight and slow start to finish. It is one of our best "go for" discs as it doesn't go far past the basket on misses and stays put when it hits the ground. A good disc for those players making the conversion from flat edged disc sports: Catch, Ultimate, Freestyle, etc.

This is my favorite putter! Why? Because I am an old ultimate player. If you are going from ultimate to disc golf, you need to decide what your goals are. If you want to keep up your ultimate game, just buy this putter in one of the lighter weights. The Discraft Ultrastar bounces off of the chains but otherwise works fine for disc golf, so use it and this putter, and you will be fine.

Good Disc

Great Starter Putter, Actually also a very durable dog frisbee. I bought this one to replace my last one that my Labrador liked to chase and catch but had to many teeth marks to use.

Can't choose color, but still great putter

I was expecting a yellow one like everyone in the comments had said, but mine came as red/black. I wish there was a way to select a color, but it is still the same putter regardless!

All In The Flight

This thing has perfectly straight flight, but feels awkward in the hand. It is hard to release straight because of the fat rim. If you like the big flat rim, this is your putter! Not really for me though.

Colors Don't vary

I've thrown the Birdie before (years ago), but mine was already broken in. These came as described, and are a little stiff as of now. Nothing that I didn't expect. I was a little disappointed that "colors may vary" turned out to mean "they're all yellow". I ordered two and both came yellow. No Big deal. Good price and legit product.
