Does what it advertises.

6 inch. using it to boost air to my upper level. Used home assistant to automate an outlet so its not constant noise. only turns on if temperature goes out of range. Fairly noisy, noise travels through the vents. but better than it being hot or cold upstairs.

Good for the price

At full speed this fan moved more air than I needed and that was good because at full speed it was louder than I could tolerate. This fan is compatible with a fan speed controller that allowed for infinite adjustment down until the fan would stall. This allowed me to get the exact amount of air movement while also reducing the noise level. There was very minimal hum introduced as a result of using the regulating switch.

Value of item, easy to install & satisfactory air flow

Easy to install, noise of fan is acceptable and air flow as well. Installed in master bedroom upstairs and this helped draw more air into the room.

Missing parts

I was surprised that the fan required some assembly and the reverse or left hand nut was missing. There were no wiring directions so it may have rattled itself apart in shipment, but doesn’t explain the missing nut!

They work well enough for the price but don't last all that long

I have installed these in a few commercial bathrooms and they generally last two or three years so there's job security built in.

Good cheap exhaust fan

I really needed to be able to exhaust some ethanol fumes when using my magnetic hotplate. So to Amazon I went. This little fan was cheap and the right size. With all the money I've had to put elsewhere cheap cost was needed. Despite it being low budget it really is made well enough. And it can really exhaust some fumes. Now I gave it 3 stars because the only way to turn it on or off is by plugging it in. There is also only 1 speed. Fortunately enough for me that's the speed I needed so it works. I didn't want to put another hole in my shop for this exhaust so I incorporated it into the exhaust line for my AC and added some extra hose so I could simply slide the exhaust out of the back of my AC and place it wherever I need to exhaust. The fan itself gets a little warm to touch at around 130 degees while its running. All in all im fine with it for now . My setup might sound confusing but its simple really and it didn't cost but less than 20 bucks to get the exhaust fan I needed in my shop

It's pretty heavy for its size

I wouldn't buy this again for the purpose u originally bought it for, which was to go in a tent duct hole. I can and will find another use for it

Missing left hand nut

Fan blade was in the bottom of the box not mounted, mounting nut was not in the package. I'd have just went to the hardware and bought a nut, but left hand threaded nuts are hard to come by.
