Great carrier

I purchased the Small size in black/grey. We just adopted a 7 pound cat and needed a way to securely transport her home and to/from the vet. I looked at a lot of other carriers and landed on this one due to the features and the price. I am very pleased with this carrier. The top door/opening is a much easier way to put the cat in than using the door on the front. I love that the top door can open from either side and can be easily removed completely. It is also nice that the front door can be installed on either side so it can open from whichever side you want. The size fit my cat very well. Not too big and not too small. Plenty of room for a small blanket and the cat. There is enough room for her to stand up and move around a little as well as to lay down and curl up on the blanket. That latches that hold the top and bottom together seem to be able to become unlatched rather easily. I haven't had that problem yet, but could see where it would happen. To safeguard from this, I used a couple of zip ties to ensure that the carrier could not come apart accidentally. There were a couple of holes already there where the carrier top/bottom meet that made this very easy to do. The ladies at the vet office loved the carrier (especially the removable top door/opening) and asked where I got it. This says a lot since I am sure that they see a lot of different carriers every single day. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Must Be Careful !

I would not ever use this carrier for anything weighing over 4 to 6 lbs AND I would put a strap around it to secure it. I would never carry it by the handle either... We got this for out 6 lb cat because we now have 4 cats and only had 3 carriers. You must pay attention when closing/installing the door to make sure it not only locks but won't come out so PULL ON IT. The plastic clips snap the top and bottom together - I don't trust them at all... they are too light weight. But for the money and keeping in mind that I would strap this together PLUS put zip ties thru the holes on the side - it's OK... for vet trips or emergency travel for that only.

Nice little carrier

Over all a nice little carrier for the price. I use it to transport some of my foster neonatal kittens, though I definitely wouldnt trust it to hold 10 lb cat. I love how the top door can be opened from either side. The only problem that I've had was with the front door latch, it would open/loose. Had to take the mechanism apart multiple times and finally got it to work.

Pet Carrier

Item’s delivered early, however the box looked as though it had been thrown or been in a wreak. Content’s were dusty. All part’s seem to be inside. ????

It beats the last carrier I bought!!!

I am used to this type of carrier. I put together & the gate stays attached to the carrier. It is better made. I bought another crate that the plastic locks that are supposed to secure the gate & those “locks” or screws/bolts were CRAP!! The gate would not stay attached to the carrier & those locks would fall out of the holes. If I could have returned it I would have instead it went out to the trash today!!! This is a better carrier.

Replacement latch would be great. Don't really need to sent back if latch can be replaced.

I liked it, but there was a part missing to hold it together...no answer to my messages....returned..... I took it to Kohls, as instructed on May 5, 2023.......got a receipt, and have not gotten credit yet...... I have never waited this long to be credited.......

Sturdy, XS Perfect for 'toy' dogs/puppies

The XS kennel does NOT screw or bolt together so it's probably not as secure as the larger kennels BUT I think it's fine for regular use as the clips are pretty tight and feel strong. It feels much sturdier than a slightly larger pet taxi petmate kennel I have. The plastic is very thick, I was even able to sit on top of the kennel without any buckling. My only complaint is that there is a decent gap around the wire door which isn't ideal for keeping snoots/paws/fingers or items from going in or out. Bought this for a very laidback chihuahua though and it doesn't seem to be an issue for him. I could see a kitty trying to wedge their arm through though so always do a test run with your animal to be sure.

Shipped wrong colour

Other than they shipped the wrong colour to me, everything is good. xs perfectly fit my 3 adult guinea pigs.
