Good for work boots
My dad ended up liking them. He works with welding and heavy equipment so pretty much was good for his job.

Comfort
I like they are slip on. They fit snuggly and are comfortable. It took a couple of days to break in. They feel good to walk in. Sturdy and durable. This is my second time I am buying from Iron Age. I had the last pair 3 years. I decided to use my safety shoe allowance and get a new pair. The old pair had some wear on the heals, but other than that, they are in good shape.

Dissatisfied - poor quality
After months of searching for a comfortable boot, wide enough plus style, I was very very happy to know I had found it. As soon as I received my boots I put them on and continued my day, worn them to work for two weeks straights (10 uses) mind you I am a construction foremen for my duties include supervising and plenty of walking. So, after 10 days the top portion between my toes and the top of my foot was killing me, I was very disappointed. When I took my shoe off I noticed the boot lining right behind the steel toe was clumped and that was hurting my foot. I do t know if anyone else has had that problem but I can no longer wear the boot, again I loved the style how comfortable they were but the quality of the boot unfortunately was dissatisfying

EXCELLENT I MEAN EXCELLENT!
25years of hard use on boots.....from well known manufacturers. These boots were comfortable right out of the box! And they still are. Metatarsal is not steel but I know the reason why. The steel toes are not narrow like typical ones. (Great on toes!)

They look great
I like the look and feel. Just slightly loose. Other wide boots are not as wide as these. I ware them for work, the fit was not so loose I could not ware them.

Great boot for its price!
The reason why I gave a 4 star is because they aren’t really a meta-guard boot. It’s a foam rubber meta guard not a hard plastic. Other than that it’s a great boot.

Toe guard bends easily
I like these boots in general. I use them in my metal shop. They are pretty heavy so I wouldn’t want to walk long distances however. The bad is that just kneeling with the shoe flexing bent the inner structure.

Needed a good work boot
I just bought these based on name alone. I used to work with some people who thought the name Iron Age "walked on water" so to speak. The work I do goes through work shoes fairly quickly and I will post later on how they have held up. The last pair of work shoes were Skechers' and they lasted one year (better than the few months cheap brands lasted).
