Good bit

These are pretty sharp and seem like they will last for quite a few holes in steel. The only reason I didn't give they a 5 star rating is, they are coated with shipping oil that is very sticky and I had to use brake clean to clean them before I could use them.

They are sharp

I was using these bit a couple of days ago to drill holes on some aluminum. The shaving came of the bit in long shaving that wound around the bit. That is sharp from what I've seen.

Ok bits for limited use. I usually drill through double layer steel and the last bit of the first layer gets caught on the bit acting like a shield preventing the bit from biting into the next layer (not every time), but often enough that checking for the problem is a constant activity. Also, the bits don't seem to hold and edge for very long, again I'm drilling through 2 layers of 16 gauge steel. I haven't tried to sharpen them with my drill doctor yet but we'll see.

Works great for pilot holes, I drill out exhaust manifold studs, and many other bolts, I am a automotive technician and have used other drill bits these work great

Inexpensive and Sharp

I drill steel framing before installing the screws, and go through the 7/64-inch twist drills. These are moderately priced and sharp, so work well for my application.
