I like it but it will scorch your ironing board cover.
It will scorch your ironing board cover. I put a folded piece of foil underneath the rest. That seems to have taken care of the scorching

Don’t leave iron on too long!
Nice for short rests of the iron while you adjust what you are ironing, but don’t think you can use it as a rest for a long time. The pad bubbled up when I did that. Thought it was ruined, but it got its shape back when cooled.

It's ok
It's made well and heat resistant. But I just wish it was thicker. It wasn't the best for a gravity iron. I ended up using two of these and a thick silicone pad to rest my iron on. But I'm a seamstress that has her iron on 8 hrs a day. So if you just need to iron a few garments this will probably do.

Best iron rest
This iron rest is larger than most which makes it easy to put the iron. It is a great color and the wording and pattern on it gives it folksy country feeling to look at. I couldn't have bought a better iron rest, it is wonderful.

It does the job
I wish it was a bit thicker since I was quite surprised at how thin it was. I don't think I would let my iron rest on this pad if I was sewing for a while between ironing sessions. But if I'm ironing a lot of things at the same time, this pad does the job.

Love the big size
Really happy with this. It's nice and thick, generously sized, seems very heat resistant, perfect place to set the hot iron when it's waiting to be used. (I keep the iron upright, have never left it face down.) I can't fit an ironing board in my small sewing room, so I use a long ironing pad on top of a cabinet, and this adds extra protection for the iron to rest on. The color is also nice.

It’s handy to have in the sewing room.
I use this in my sewing room. When I need to leave my iron on, I lay it on the iron rest so that the iron doesn’t have to stand upright. This way I don’t worry about hitting the iron with my arm and getting burnt.

Cute but not effective
My iron has legs so it wasn’t even sitting on the rest but over it and I looked over and it was like the rubber was rising up in the middle towards the base of my iron - it just couldn’t manage the heat from my iron.
