It is equipped with a beam-on indicator that verifies that the unit is working from a distance. DURABLE HOUSING: This laser layout tool is made of solid brass housing; which protects the laser diode and resists rust and spark. Solid glass lenses are intended for use in tough work conditions. For impact resistance; wedge internal prisms direct the beam and keep it aligned. LASER LEVEL: This Dots Laser Tool assists in locating a level point or 90-degree points between a wall; the floor; and the ceiling. It is self-leveling; so you get an exact measurement right away; even on uneven ground.
