Works with a little modification.
This looks nearly exactly like the old one right down to the location of the screw holes. However this is made of much harder plastic, and a bit thicker as well. Which sounds like a great thing, its not gonna break right? But it won't give enough to allow it to snap over the door to latch. Grinding off the back tab a bit allowed it to have more room to slip into place and latch. Even so, it's so stiff it takes some strength to open the door once snapped. It ain't gonna pop open under way, that's fer sure! I used a Dremel tool to make it work, which also works to round the edges just a bit so you don't scrape your hand or snag something on it which happened often with the old one. I would still buy this though as it is the only one I've found anywhere to replace what it had that broke.

Will not last
Works for first season , but after winter they always seem to break. Been through 3 already.

This door latch is nearly exact as in my trailer. It was too narrow for my door to close easily and a real hassle to get back open. My solution was to heat it up and spread the clamping jaws to ease the tension some. Lucky I was right on as it works great. I’m happy to have found this replacement

Sliding door brackets
Used in camper for sliding doors. Work well but wish came in metal rather than plastic. We replace about one a year.

It works
Replaced a broken one in my chaparral. Looks exactly the same. Works, we’ll see how long this one lasts.

Not so good.
This is exactly like the one that broke. But it holds the door shut a little too tenaciously. I find it hard to open the sliding door because it has NO flexibility.

Easy to Install But Stiffer than Expected
This sliding closet door latch matched the previous one very well in size and shape. Very easy to install in a couple minutes. The plastic is much stiffer than the previous version and holds very well. Since it is so stiff, we only latch it when traveling in our RV. Otherwise, we just slide the door up to it. Does the job.

Platic is extremely unflexible
The plastic is sooooo stiff that once I shut the RV closet sliding door it was impossible to get it open again.

Had to make a new hole as they didn’t line up with ones from factory but works great !
The product works great will always have one on standby from now on !
