Good quality, good price

I ordered my usual size, XL, but they were a bit snug around the waist (fine when I stand up, but dig in when I sit down). Ordered another pair in 2XL and these are much comfier. An inner drawstring would be useful to allow for weight gain/loss/bloating. The cotton material is soft and a decent thickness, not see-through. The shorts are a nice length too, especially if you’re past the age of booty shorts like me! They sit an inch or so above my knees. Hopefully they will wash well and I’ll enjoy wearing them. I think they’ll go with anything, from pretty tops to vests.

Excellent Fit and Comfort

These shorts are made from 100% cotton and have a wide waist band. They stay at my natural waist and don't slip down. They are soft and comfortable enough to wear for bedtime. I appreciate that they are made from 100% cotton. Anything with polyester gives me a rash and it's difficult to find simple cotton garments these days. I recommend these shorts to everyone! Fit is true to size: I normally wear a 3x/24w and bought the 3x size.

Bought two more

I did upsize which was a good choice. The shorts fit my waist not too tight or loose. They have pockets and are very comfortable. Only downside is they have a strange cut in the leg, flaring out and then back in slightly. looks like riding britches. Frankly, I'm old, they fit, they are comfortable and no one is looking at me anyway! :) If I was seriously bothered I could drag out my sewing machine and fix it in minutes.

Good fit and comfort!

Fit comfortably. Washed and dried as I normally do and they had minimal shrinkage. Still fit as expected. Don't bunch up in the crotch (i'm 260/5'5" heavy middled) which makes me happy. Not too think or thick. Perfect for my 100 deg summers! Buying again, for sure!

Sizing is great and cotton fabric perfect

Well made pockets are nice and roomy . Size are equal to other 3x's. The cotton fabric is knitted stretchy. I was cautious the first order with only one. Since the quality with affordable price I purchased four more later.

Yes, I live in the muggy midwest and in the summer the living ain't easy. Despite pleas from complete strangers "please don't", I'm going to wear shorts. These work! Comfy, retain their original shape after a spin in the washer and dryer. Go get 'em, big girl!

Comfy summer shorts

These shorts are great for a warm summer day. They don't "ride up" as you walk. The waist has just the right amount of elastic. Lots of leg room. Not too short.

Comfortable and cool, perfect for summer

They are comfortable but they are not anything more than a typical casual short. I will wear them to the store or running errands, but wouldn't wear them going out for dinner or anything more than casual. I find there's a lot of material in the back of the leg which looks kind of weird. The material sits right against the front of the leg, but I swear I could fit a second leg behind with the amount of excess material that there is, so they look like you have huge legs. I also find the thick waistband a little uncomfortable because it rolls, I really don't know why any plus-size clothing has a thick waistband just for that reason. But I wanted comfortable shorts for walking my dog or doing work outside or around the house, and these are perfect for that! They are lightweight, cool and comfortable and they have pockets - which for me was a must. I previously bought another pair of shorts that I love and are super comfortable but did not have pockets, so I searched for ones that did and found these. I ended up buying a second pair in Black because I like these so much! The black is 100% cotton while these ones are a mix of cotton and polyester, but I find that they feel and fit the same. Also fit true to size!

Brilliant

Don't normally leave reviews BUT these are a must ! I'm not a shorts kind of girl, as I've never liked getting my legs out , but turning 40 made me reconsider. I am 5" 8 and normally a size 14 / 16 pending where I get clothing from - These shorts are a perfect fit ( I ordered the 1X) very very comfortable for thos ladies who have generious hips and thighs. The length is perfect and the material is really really good quality. I love them ! I have the black pair and yesterday I ordered the navy ???? Would highly recommend ????

Comfy fit

I purchased two pairs of these. One because the first pair was huge on me. Turns out when previously shopping for pants on Amazon it automatically changed my choice to what size it thought I should purchase. ( I lost a lot of weight) the second purchase I caught what was happening, purchased the correct size and they fit like a dream. I purchased these so that I can also wear these over a cast for an upcoming surgery and the legs give ample space for that. Made of soft material and they seem like they will be durable. I will keep the larger pair for around the house even though I have to pull them up alot. Just be careful to measure your correct size and to double check that the ordering system doesn't order what size they think you are lesson learned! Orders both came in quickly with the last pair coming a full day earlier than expected.
